Great gift
This was worked out well for my brother. He enjoys flying it. It’s perfect for beginners on how to use a a drone. Worth the money even though a bit small.

I thought it was bigger by the box size and etc but it wasn't
I just thought the plane was bigger than it was

It’s has a mind of its own. Not for kids & I’m 21.
It flys off in its own direction and when calibrated it’s fine for the 2 mins the battery’s gave me to fly it. But that’s not the problem it’s having to re calibrate it everytime I turn it off. Lasted a week.

Fun and unique drone for amateurs. Not great for kids though
Ive been an active RC plane/drone/heli pilot since I was a wee lad and have a great deal of experience with all things that fly. Recently Ive been introducing my son to the hobby in which he shows great enthusiasm, but at 6 years old he doesn't yet grasp the fluid controls of flight (nor peeing in the toilet) so the thought of a low cost drone thats easy to fly is very attractive. For the most part I let him pick out the one he wanted from a careful selected group I presented to him. He enthusiastically picked this airplane-esque drone. Which to be honest I wanted him to get since it looked the coolest to me.First impressions is that this is packaged well and detailed great. It looks great, comes with all the accessories, a OK controller and an extra battery and props. This is a unique quadcopter setup that uses over under blade approach, however the unusual part is that the blades are close to one another which I assume is to give it a more aircraft looking appeal. And believe it or not it works and works well. However it does not respond as quickly or recover as fast as a standard type quadcopter. Mostly due to the proximity of the 4 props and their nearness to the center. The over under blade design helps with this as it acts as a counter active design to fight the opposite forces, but that can really only do so much and plenty of flights ended up with this thing head over wheels!.Now id strongly say this isnt a great setup for a child as they may have quick reaction time, but by the time they get the hang of this it will be very much destroyed. However for an adult or someone with a good amount of drone experience this thing is great fun indoors. it handles somewhere inbetween a traditional heli and a quadcopter. You still have plenty of time and leeway to recover from over corrections and flight issues. Unlike a heli which once its out of control its gonna crash. Response time between input and flight is great, and my son watched me play with this for a solid hour and never lost interest. He just loved the fact that it looked like a plane and not one of my old boring typical drones. Now rest assured I have crashed it plenty of times trying to show off for Jr and its held up well. Ive only broken one prop the entire time and its easily replaced with the extras in set. Its fallen from probably 75' in the air into concrete and only had some mild scratched. With all that being said this is a great traditional drone alternative and a great toy for someone who already has experience with a drone or heli. However I cannot advise this being good for kids. Perhpas if they had blade guards I would say it would be worth a shot, but this thing hauls and a kid who doesnt know what hes doing and aims straight for your head and hits it....well lets just say its not going to be a good day for whomever it crashes into.

Do not buy this drone
I have returned this drone. .I made the mistake of not seeking reviews on this drone prior to buying. I should have.Bottom line, this penguin doesn't fly. The fixed prop blades might cut you so never hold or reach the drone when it running.

Does not fly
We have many drones and a lot of experience flying. All that being said, we could not get this thing off the ground. It will not fly. It wouldn’t even hover. Big disappointment.
