Thirstystone 4 Pack Natural Black Marble Round Coasters 4" Diameter Elegant Heat Tolerant

Overall we like these coasters. They are large enough to accommodate a large mug. They are heavy enough that a sweating glass does not stick to the coaster and lift it off the table when you pick it up. But they are not consistent. Three are basically alike: they are relatively smooth, but one of these has a slope at the edge. The fourth one is at least 1/8 inch thicker than the others and has a much more roughly honed surface, like it wasn't polished. Don't ask me why it is thicker. Seems like they would have had some template to help them all be the same thickness. I am not sending them back because they do the job, but I would definitely not give them as a gift given the degree of inconsistency.

These coasters are regular marble, not Thirstystone. They do not absorb liquid at all. As well, in my 4 pack 1 of the coasters was a completely different color.

These coasters have a smooth surface that is not at all absorbent. Water runs straight off of it. These are NOT Thirstystone brand. Returned.

This listing was very poorly prepared. In the main listing it describes them as being 4.5" in diameter. However, in the picture, there is a caption that shows them as being only 4". Size matters to me - I will not purchase unless I know what I'll actually receive
