Doesn't work well
Cheap, but that's what you get. I have the regular plastic version of this game in which the tiles fall into place. Not so with the 'rustic' series. You have to place the letter tiles every time, which kinda ruins the point of having a reveal and timer. I do not recommend this version of Boggle. (still love boggle tho)

The original version is a better buy
The metal cage is difficult to seat on the base in order to shake up the cubes, and it’s very top-heavy, and the wooden base and wooden cubes make getting all the letters to seat after a shake impossible without taking off the lid, and manually arranging some of them. Poor/limiting functionality is not worth the aesthetical value.

Cute but loud
Nice, classic boggle with less plastic! However, it is SO LOUD!! In fact, it makes so much noise my cat runs or her dear life, and my partner refuses to play with me because of the noise.That could just be an excuse to escape my inevitable victory. I've got the boggle skills of Peggy Hill. Ho yeah!

Dice get stuck
Cool looking, but dice do not shake into their spots very well. You have to fix them before you begin to play.

Boggle: Plain and Simple. Very well made
I've owned a couple of Boggle games in the past. None of them were as well made as this one. This one is beautifully made as well as functional for gameplay. The game itself is made of metal and wood and everything fits in the letter cage.
