Three brand comparison
I ordered 3 different brands of socks from Amazon, primarily to help keep my feet warm. I have a wide foot (male size 9 1/2 6E) so I was concerned with how they would fit and also how they would stand up to washing. The socks I am comparing were the Polar Feet Adults'Socks size XL, the Wigwam 40 Below Socks size LG, and the Carhartt Men's Heavy Duty Thermal Crew size Large. All three brands fit me OK. I wore these throughout our house without shoes for a day at a time, and although none of them had any anti-skid treads on the bottom, I didn't have a problem with slipping as most of my walking was done on carpeted floors. All three brands came through one washing without problem, although the Polar Feet pair had a little more specialized treatment called for: they were supposed to be washed while inside out. I have mild neuropathy in both feet, so I'm not too sensitive to slight differences in warmth, but they all three were comfortable and helped keep my feet warm to about the same degree. I have some limited mobility that prevents me from putting on socks on my left foot without some assistance. I use the BodyHealt Sock Aid with Foam Grip (also ordered from Amazon) and all three brands could be stretched just enough to use this device. I finally concluded I preferred the Carhartt brand over the other two, primarily because of the great price differential between the three brands. The Carhartt brand was $13.37 for a two-pair package, while the Wigwam brand was $13 for one pair, and the Polar Feet brand was $18.99 for one pair. (I recently saw the Carhartt brand on Amazon for a little more than $10 for each two-pair package.) (Again, my neuropathy greatly reduces the sensations from my feet, so some might prefer the materials used in one brand over the others.)

These socks are good and bad.
I'm on the fence about these socks. I really wanted to like them, and because I've never worn a pair of fleece socks before, I gave these a try. They are not horrible, and others may really like them but I definitely wouldn't order them again. (this or any other brand). The good:They are warm. They are true to size. They are produced in and and sent from Canada and seem to be made very well.No tight band pressing into leg to hold them up.Cute fleece material in bright colors make them unique . I like the pattern and colors I chose, and are as vibrant as the photo shown.Received in a timely manner with gift wrap packaging . ( nice !)The bad:They have no stretch to them at all.The stitching, while flat is bothersome to my toes and sides of feet. I wear them inside out because for some reason the stitching is smoother and less scratchy on the outside of the sock. This has made them much more comfortable to wear. They are dangerously slippery when walking around on hardwood floors. The fleece does not absorb moisture, so when your feet get hot and sweat, you end up with wet feet. ( resulting in cold feet)They are 19 US dollars. I expected them to be lined with plushy fuzzy fleece on the inside ( this would have helped a bit with the scratchy inside seams) A bit too pricey for a pair of socks in my opinion.

Soft, well made, comfortable
omg, wow! I want to live in these socks at home. I have another pair from Acorn that I've had forever, but these are so soft and well made, and seem to have the slightest bit of stretch. I love how they placed the seam to create a little bit of structure to the sock, but still leave it loose and comfortable. I have a rather narrow foot and usually wear between a 9.5 and 10 shoe (women's). I wear these socks like slippers so I wanted them not to be completely fitted against the skin, and they fit perfectly (I bought the Large). They are only the slightest bit roomy, and stay on my feet perfectly (without sliding down, etc.).

Great product, shipping cost is a stopper
I LOVE these socks!! I purchased "Polartec" fleece socks, a while ago, and have been trying to find a similar product. These fit well and are comfortable (no problem with seams). The top is a little "close" as to how snug it is on my leg, but okay...and I think a larger size would be too big, overall. Also, the prints are fun, and the "tread" version is great on tile. My only wish / "complaint" is the shipping cost-quite a bit, per pair of socks. They are really light, given the material, certainly not "oversize," and ship within the US. It does not make sense, on my side-the consumer, as to why the shipping is so exorbitant. That is my pause for buying more. Thank you.

Suffocating narrow ankle
Ok, so they know the person they’re producing the sock for has large feet, or a need for a loose fit, yet they keep making narrow ankled floppy socks. You got it right once when I got an extra bushy xxl where the ankle runs over an inch wider than these current 3x. I keep buying hoping for a correction to be made and I just received another pair of the narrow ankle and narrow mid calf 3x sock. So now I have to cut 6 inches off the top and stretch the heck out of them to fold over. Please make the sock correctly. Winter is coming.

Warm fuzzy socks!!!
These are really soft and fuzzy fleece socks. I bought them for my husband and he loves them! One of his main complaints are that most of the socks are too tight and cut off his circulation but these were nice and lose and don't cause him any discomfort. He wears a size 11 shoe and I got him the XL size socks and they fit fine. Maybe a tab bit loose but he likes them. Just a note that there are no grippy things on the soles so if you run on a wooden floor you might slide a bit. But if you like sliding around in warm fuzzy socks then this is what you need!

Hapy with the seller, not so much with the product
The service from the seller was awesome. Product arrived earlier then expected. As to the socks themselves, they are certainly warm and soft and serve the purpose of keeping my feet warm, but they have a pronounced seam running around the entire sock which I can't avoid feeling. It diminished the effect I was looking for. They are very well made and the seam may not bother others.

Excellent sleeping or winter socks
These socks are the best socks for wearing at night. They keep your feet warm, but aren't too restricting so you can have good blood flow to your feet.

It would fit a child better. For the price
For Adult feet...turned out to be small. The leg was small and tight. It would fit a child better. For the price...too much!!!
