Yes, my weenie dog loves it. The water is filtered and fresh it holds about two water bottles full of water and has a window to check the water level and it is lighter at night time. I absolutely love it.

No, the fountain isn't wireless.

Q: Does the pump/motor automatically turn off when the water level is too low?

it doesn’t turn off, as it’s plugged into the wall, but the water flow starts to diminish. it will come out in small spurts before the water is completely gone.
