FastCap Highbot FC-2182 Woodworking, 6 Ounces, Multi

This is my second set of bot bottles. Just love thee and they work so well. I use this little one more than any other bottle, even the bottles the glue comes in. They are soft enough to easily squeeze glue, yet stout enough to take the use. Of course these are more for detail, not something you'd use to put down a gallon of glue. Best things I like about this is you can get detailed glue application. Cut the nozzle as big or as small as you want. Also like that they have the reservoir, no more making sure my glue bottle is upside down. No more shaking the glue bottle to get the glue down to the tip. Take it from me though, don't leave glue sitting in these for a long time. I made that mistake and well, I probably could have cleaned it out, but they are not super easy to clean. Once you put glue it in, make sure to use it at least every so often. I've read though, you can put some warm water in them, suppose to help getting cleaned up. Love this bottle, would happily recommend.

This glue bot is of less capacity than the standard one but the basic idea is the same. They have an advantage over a regular bottle of glue because they allow the glue to flow back inside with a lot less clogging in the tip. Much less frustrating .

Lid does not perfectly seal despite gasket but dispenser tip caps fit tightly unlike alternative (gluemate by milescraft). 4 stars just as the better of these two options. Otherwise works well and still a good value.

For me this just makes applying glue at just about any angle so much easier. Has ample reservoir for a good amount of glue and cap keeps it fresh. I’d give this a 4.5 stars in reality since the rubber cap and the little connector can get in the way (there is a storage for it but it pops out on occasion.) You do have to cut the tip for the amount of flow you want so think carefully before you snip cuz if you want a small flow, once you snip off “too much”, you’ll have to live with it.

I have tried a few other options and this all around has the best versatility and is very reasonable on pricing. The only frustrations i have had is not cleaning the tips but i only then replace it with spare tips. This bottle is very easy to maintain so it drying up is only a fault of my own. I am a fan of well thought out products and this is one of them, thus the great review. This is a must have in any woodshop/garage.

When I received the bottle I put some glue in it and tried to use it but the top cover was not fitting tight enough so that the air escaped through the top without pushing the glue up the dispensing tube. I noticed that the O-ring inside the cover looks somewhat dried out so I put a little lubricant on top of it and put it back on the bottle and that did the trick. The top now seals very well and it does push the glue out the way that it should. Handy little device.

I hate to give such a poor review but this products is so poorly made it is not worth your hard earned dollars at any price. I have used the gluebot and loved it, so I thought I would try the smaller version because as a hobbyist I typically don't use that much glue. The gluebot is a great concept but the casting on this is so poor it will not get a seal. If FastCap is listening, you need to get a new manufacturer. I hope this helps

I don't think they are being deceptive, the size of the bottle (6oz) is right in the description. It's just that I've seen similar products before and they were much larger. The tip is so small and the glue I use (Titebond II) tends to be thick, there is little hope I'll be able to dispense a bead of the size I need with any speed. Also, it oddly has a rubber o-ring inside the cap. It's hard to see how this rubber o-ring won't be a bother when it is time to inevitably clean it out, but read other reviews to see what they say. I'll be returning mine unused. What I was looking for is something to replace the glue bottle that my glue comes in that has a nozzle that is constantly clogged. What I got was too small for almost all the woodworking I do. Some other reviews have said it is good for crafting with thinner glues.

Eine wirklich kleine Flasche um Leim sauber auf die gewümschten Flächen aufzutragen. Eben wegen ihrer Größe sehr gut zu händeln. Nichts für große Flächen und Verbräuche, da man dann laufend nachfüllen muss.
