I prefer a case having handles & a shoulder strap instead of a simple sleeve, because it makes it easier to travel/fly with. Obviously you need a place for charger, cords & some other items separate from the laptop; maybe a folder or 2 of documents, USB flash drives, pens, maybe an external HD or DVD Writer/player, etc. This case fits the bill perfectly & at a value price. While I can't really comment on the durability, it appears to be well built, sturdy, with sufficient padding for protection, & while it is compact & light-weight, it has many pockets for whatever you need to take with you. The ONLY minor drawback is that the zipper handles for the two accessory pockets on the outside of the case are parked in the middle between the 2 pockets that are very close together, instead of being parked on the outside edges of these pockets. So they are not as easily accessible as they could be.
