I must be careful about oily products because it can cause acne on my face and neck. This butter is sooo smooth and light. It absorbs into the skin and hydrates for hours. I use it after I spritz my face with rose water. My skin has not been inflamed and I have no new acne. Great product!

The aloe butter itself is awesome so I gave the product 5 stars...very disappointed in the way it arrived. It was boxed great, had air pillows to protect but when I got to the product the lid was completely off of the jar and laying loose inside of the zip baggie. If it had been warmer weather I would likely have just had a melted goopy mess in a bag! How could so much attention be paid to the box and cushioning and NO ONE noticed the lid was off??? When I screwed the lid back on it fits nice and snug so I doubt it worked it's way all the way off in a couple of days of shipping. I sincerely hope the aloe butter itself didn't get contaminated.

Informational purposes, the product arrived in a plastic jar and plastic lid in a sealed bag with a broken lid on the side but no pieces in the bag. The lid still seals so wasn't worried about it. Review wise, the butter itself feels so smooth, silky, even velvety, seems amazingly hydrating to my hands and also facial skin without irritating it, which is a feat. I have very sensitive, dry/flaky yet oily combo skin on my face that is a constant search for what helps and is skin tolerable. This feels very good, doesn't require much, good on lips also, and have used a little through my fine, highly tangleable hair also. Highly recommend!

It says "Botanical name: Aloe Barbadensis / Butyrospermum parkii Method: Cold Pressed" in product description and on the container but Aloe Butter is made by mixing aloe vera gel with an oil, like soyoil. It doesnt say what oil they used, and aloe butter directly means its not 100% aloe. I assume its soyoil, but they should say. Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Have bought several items from this seller and this one just as good as all the rest. Smooth, non grainy butter, very luxuriously moisturizing without being heavy. Great for using after sun exposure. Nice, natural aroma too. An excellent value; packaging is no frills, which is fine with me.

It is very moisturizing and helped to soothe my burns well. The ingredients are all good as well which is hard to find in aloe.

I thought this would be soft like Shea butter and easy to apply. Instead, it is as hard as a rock and almost unusable. Even those narrow little pop up cylinders of coco butter sold in convenience stores were more pliable. You really need a hammer and chisel to chip away at this, get a few shavings in your hand and rub until it melts enough to use.

Easy to use. My handmade product came out fine.
