As my first enthusiast paddle, an upgrade from a cheap fiberglass set we got from our friend, I think Vatic paddles go beyond expectations for under $100.It plays as good if not better than $200+ paddles I’ve tried side by side. The carbon face texture is the same as some of the best on the market.Most importantly great performance for someone trying to improve their game. It gives much better control with baseline drives. Absorbs volleys and provides nice touch around the net. The injected foam does a nice job dampening vibration while still keeping the pop. This is not a power paddle, but rather moderate power and good control. The light weight helps with maneuvering quickly around the net.Recently I added 2 lead weight strips to the sides of the paddle and boom....now has more power to serves and ground strokes and kick to my volleys.

Since starting my pickleball journey a couple of years ago, I have had the chance to play with a number of paddles, ranging from the cheap entry level bundle paddles to the much pricier Joola Hyperion. While each step on this paddle journey brought improvements to my game, if I am being completely honest, these improvements have been incremental at best. That was until I opted to give the Vatic Pro Prism Flash a try. This paddle gave me the "ah hah" moment I had been looking for. Almost instantly, I felt a difference in my game. My control and ball placement improved drastically. My touch and feel went up considerably. My topspin became actually noticeable. And my pop ups reduced almost instantly. After just a few matches, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I had found an excellent paddle to compliment my style of play.That all said, this paddle is not for everyone. If you are a banger...you will probably hate this paddle. But if you strive to be a touch and control player, you probably won't be disappointed!I am now on my second Vatic Pro Prism Flash, and when I wear this one out...which I most certainly will playing 5+ days a week as I currently do...I will have zero hesitation to buy a third as this paddle offers everything I want for my game at a great price.

With any paddle, theres a learning curve. This thing is great overall for the price, I got it on sale for about $70 I think. The grip is starting to separate after just a few uses, enough that I notice it, so I will likely get an overgrip or regrip it in general but this is a good paddle

I love this racket! I have been using an old non fancy racquet for years and was completely fine with my play- until I tried this one. It is light weight and so easy to maneuver- highly recommend it!

Can't believe this paddle could make that much difference. It is more solid and am able to spin the ball more.

Great at everything but not best at anything. Paddles are very suggestive and varies between players. To me it's a stiff paddle, with good grit for curves, and pop is responsive. The ball will go confidently in the direction you want it to. Large sweet spot. If you naturally have good flicks and power behind your hits you'll do fine but if you need more pop or power off the paddle you'll need to look elsewhere. To me this is a very good control paddle for the price and well made. I prefer control paddles. Looks to have held up for the month or so I used it and I dont baby my paddles. Worth the money but if you can shell out about $40 dollars more there are better options out there in the market. Paddles are getting better and cheaper, like this one. Do not be fooled by the overpriced stuff. I have played against +4.5 dupr and it makes a subtle difference in their performance playing on "high" and "low" end paddles. You just become specialized in a type of playing style and the paddle is just complementary to that. This paddle is a great entry to the "higher" paddle world.

I am a beginner to intermediate Pickleball player. I've been playing a few times a month for about 8 months and before I got this paddle I had been using a cheap wooden paddle.This paddle is obviously a huge improvement from what I had been using. It has a large sweet spot and gives me way more control than my old paddle. The grip on the surface is great and seems like it will hold up for a long time. The paddle gives me plenty of power as well.I honestly haven't noticed anything the paddle is incapable of for my skill level. I felt like my old paddle was holding me back, but I think this one will be good enough for the rest of my life. Now the only limiting factor is my skill and not the paddle!If you're thinking about upgrading from a cheaper paddle I think you'd be very happy with this one. I'm not sure how it compares to other more expensive paddles, but I can't imagine being happier with any of them than I am with this one.

I got this at the beginning of the season after dabbling and loving Pickleball the previous year. Frankly for the price these Prism paddles go for this is a no-brainer.I got this to upgrade from a generic beginner pickleball 2 player set and it has been worth every penny. I instantly had more control, could dink way more accurately, and could drive balls much more easily. It's more than enough paddle for me as a casual player, but gives me top tier quality and technology at a totally reasonable price!The biggest surprise in the switch was the subtle grippy texture of the raw carbon paddle face. I all of a sudden could start to impart a bit of spin to some balls, and my serve got WAY better. But mostly, just having a very decent paddle to play with every game has let me build consistency and that's really the key to so much of this game (at least at my advanced beginner level).About me: I'm a 3.0 player who loves the game but only plays casually with friends. I don't expect I'll ever get beyond a 4.0, and I'm totally comfortable with that. Middle-aged, bad knee, never played a tournament, play once or twice a week for 4-5 games a session in the nice months and once or twice a month over winter. Absolutely love the game and plan on playing regularly for as long as my meatsack holds out.Note about the pics I'm including, this is after a full outdoor season of play (probably over 50 games) and it's held up beautifully.

Thought I’d leave a review seeing how some people have experienced getting sent used paddles. I received a new one with the grip plastic wrapped and with the surface of the paddle looking brand new. Have played with it and love it!

The Vatic Pro Prism Carbon Fiber paddle is fantastic. The build quality is excellent and it feels very solid in the hand. The carbon fiber surface gives great control and spin, while still providing plenty of power when hitting stronger shots.The 16mm core offers a very nice balance between touch and stability, making it easier to place shots accurately. It also feels comfortable during longer games and absorbs vibration well.Overall, this is a high-quality paddle and great value for the price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their pickleball game.
