Good hiker, but size down a half size, use your own insoles.
This is a decent boot. The style is nice and it even almost looks fashionable. I bought it for hybrid use--moderate distance hiking and tactical training. It's suitable for both. It is not the most comfortable boot out of the box, but it is better than most. You'll have to do a little breaking in (especially the ankle shaft and toe box where the fabric is stiff), but nothing really painful. The stiffness softens up pretty quickly (almost like a sneaker). The tongue lays down well, and I have noticed no pinching at all. The toe box is on the larger side and comfortable. The boot laces up really tight (if you want) and effortlessly. I LOVE the tread. I love the light weight and water resistance. My one real complaint is the insole. It's awful, but it is removable. Toss it and use something you like instead (I use Sole Lab insoles for running shoes). This boot definitely runs large. Size down a half size. Recommend.

I love these
I took these hiking in the Pacific Northwest and I love them. Grippy enough to walk on slick rocks, completely waterproof, and super light.

Good but narrow
The material is not stretchable so even after a month of use, very regularly (3.5-5 mile hikes to break them in) I have blisters after my first longer hike of 10 miles…They should have wide sizes available on this style. That’s on Adidas though… not this seller…I would highly recommend these if you have slim feet… my feet are just a little wide… not super wide, but I can’t even wiggle my toes, and I bout a size up… because with hiking you need a little wiggle room at the ends… the tightness is on the sides… I will keep them for shorter hikes that have higher difficulty , but definitely won’t be wearing them for 10 miles….
