Do not buy! I have plenty of experience with hotspots and this one is absolute JUNK! Receives fine but does not transmit a signal. Stay very far away from this one.

Avoid: Very old version of Pi-Star--3.4.17--is installed
There is no reason to ship hardware with software this old. My last two hotspots, ordered more than a year ago, were already loaded with 4.1.x software. This is poor form requiring unnecessary effort.Update: Unit received but failed to properly transmit. It seemed as though there was a VCO or TCXO problem. To the extent that it did transmit, it was approximately 10Mhz higher than it should be. The transmit frequency drifted, to the extent that it actually transmitted, it drifted in about a 500khz range. The hat must have been bad. Bad hardware and old software evidence a product that was just thrown together by folks just to make a sale, not provide a quality product. The unit was returned.
