Poor Quality Control
I bought these because they are thicker than the biodegradable brand I've used in the past. Unfortunately, the terrible quality control makes that irrelevant. The second bag I used busted out at the bottom, even though the bag wasn't full. Every couple of bags have tears along the top or bottom seam. Depending on how bad they are, I double up the bags, which is a waste.Next time, I'll stick with the thinner bags if it means they won't come already ripped.

Love these! They actually decompose
We bought these because I have three trash bins in the kitchen--one for trash, one for recycling, and one for compost. I use these for my compost collection bin in the house, and after about a week we take it out to the compost bin. Love these! They actually decompose! You do have to be careful about how long you leave them in your compost can, though, because they start to break down after about 7 days. No problem, though, we just rinse out the can.

Perfect size bags and doesn't leak or break
So far have used several of these bags without any leaking or breaking. It fits my tall kitchen under-the-sink basket with plenty of leftover bag to tie it up to put into larger garbage can. I also like they're able to be used to compost. Seem a bit more expensive than some of the other plastic bags on the market, but would rather pay a bit extra for something to help out Mother Earth.

Too fragile to use
I really tried to like these bags, but they were nearly impossible to work with. They tore apart while separating from each other, and several were already torn at the seam before I even unrolled them. They are supposed to be heavier duty, but the number of wasted or doubled bags I needed to use just didn't make it worth while. Perhaps they would be ok in a smaller size, but these are just too easy to tear through.

Its a pain to tear them apart without putting holes in the bottom of the bag.
These are nice, but when you go to tear a new one off.... each bag rips and put holes a the bottom. They did not make them correctly to tear apart. You can to go soooooo slow or you ruin the bag. It's a pain.

Be careful with the seam
I have been looking for a sturdy eco-friendly bag. This one is ok. The size is good, but the first few out of the box were produced so that you had to tear the seam when opening the up. Therefore the bag ripped and didn't last long on the first few uses. After we were more careful about opening up the bag when first using, but with other brands of bags I haven't had to do that. When they come out with a complete seam they work fine.

Be careful
Great for the environment and all but be careful u don't let food item's sit in your trash to long. For example I dumped food from drain and scrap a few plates from dinner night before. Few days later went to empty trash, bag had disintegrated - trash all over floor. Guess that's what they mean by "eco-friendly' - now I know.
