Excellent water gun certainly has distance and powerful... Really good fun and good value.

During lockdown, the small child next door kept popping up over the fence so naturally water pistol fights ensued. My elderly supersoaker died - it was 15 years old and with excess use the plastic just crumbled - so it was time to find another such. This was not that pistol. I was looking for one like the old one, where you pump up the pressure and then shoot with a trigger. This one has no trigger and just squirts when you pump it inwards. Also it’s a lot thinner and lighter than it looks in the pics. I was a bit annoyed but couldn’t really justify buying two. However the dog resolved the issue by stealing it and chewing it a bit; the soft plastic punctured, so I bought a different one instead, and he got told off less than he really should have. The point here is that this is not made to last, it’s a bit cheap and thin. Whether that is a plus or a minus depends on who you’re buying it for though (green issues aside). I am quite aware that I am a weirdo in that I am technically grown up and still playing with waterguns. For students or other weirdos like me, this is not the best supersoaker; there are a lot of better, more powerful ones that will last longer and shoot further (and have a larger reservoir capacity). However for your kid, this is fairly simple to use, shoots further than a bogstandard pistol, and is likely to last a summer and then break. So probably about right. :)

I bought these for Scaring off unwanted garden visitors. 1 lives in a an upstairs window, the other by the back door. We get ring neck parrots who eat ALL the birdfood for the smaller birds even off the tougher "squirrel proof" feeders which should also stop those b@stds. We can have more than a dozen visitors at one time on occasion. We shoot at the first visitors and they mostly fly away after 1 or 2 blasts. Some now even flee when they see us in the window brandishing our weaponary. They are also used as a squirrel and roaming cat deterant. Decent enough range for our requirements. East to reload and use.

Beat one yet. I've had a few water guns and they all leaked but this one doesn't leak. I use it to squirt at the stray cats that climb in my yard and it doesn't hurt them cos it's just water but it squirts about 3 metres.

Was great, when it worked! Now for some reason I can't pump water through it anymore. It's a shame as I used it to shoo pigeons from the garden and it worked well.

There is a tree near to my balcony which attracts hundreds of pigeons and they hate being sprayed by this water gun, resulting in a decrease in numbers.

Thought it would have had a more powerfull jet of water.

Bought to scare of a thug of a cat which is terrorising my cats It works much better than the water pistol I previously used and is easy to load and aim.. As to its effectiveness, results are mixed as it scares the cat off but being a determined soul he returns for round two.. Incidentally my 6 year old granddaughter also enjoys playing with it. She finds it easy to use and aim at her Dad or anyone else who gets in the line of fire!
