Great product. Ideal for endurance athletes who want a natural product to provide in race fuelling.

Went cycling up Mt Tiede in Tenerife (>2 hours climbing from sea level) and had previously found it very challenging regarding fuelling and having enough energy. This year I had a pack of 10 luchos energy blocks (the pack fit snuggly in the back of my jersey) and a couple of minutes after eating the blocks I genuinely felt a good kick of sustained energy, even when the legs were really suffering! A very minor consideration is that these are best consumed stationery or at very slow speed as the natural vine leaves need a bit of unwrapping. I found them much tastier than all the previous gels I've tried and were very easy on the stomach. The fact that they're vegan and come in compostable wrapping is a bonus! Looking forward to trying the other flavours.

I was skeptical about these but a few mountain biking friends recommended them, I have to say they weren’t wrong, will definitely be my go to energy bar from now on. They’re tasty, nutritious and easy to digest, and the organic wrapped makes disposal super easy too. 10 out of 10.

Not cheap but found to be ideal for long runs. Packaging breakdown and can therefore no worries if dropped while eating them. Far less messy than gels as long as you are happy to slow down while chewing your way through them. One block is about the same in terms of energy as a gel.

I love these and have told lots of my cycling friends about them and they buy them now too. They taste delicious and they’re wrapped in a biodegradable wrapper, a dried banana leaf that you can crunch up and throw away. They‘re the almost perfect cycling fuel, they make you go faster (not a scientific fact, just my own opinion). The only slight problem is they can get a bit warm in your pocket so don’t leave them for too long, this is why they’re almost perfect. This doesn’t put me off. They’re also great for indoor, turbo training too. No nasty, gut problems with these that some sports fuel can give you, they are all natural. Very small and lightweight, could be ideal for ultra running too.

The product itself I really like. Taste is good, easy to digest and carb content is good. Ironically the issue I have is the packaging. I had these in a front pocket of my running pack on a 40 mile ultra and it rained. They got wet and the packaging isn't waterproof so they became sticky messes in my pack. Tried to sort it but ended up making myself a sticky mess. The next few ultras I've just repackaged them so the smart leaf idea is useless...

Well packaged tasty and gives a welcome energy boost with the added bonus of not having to worry about how you dispose of the wrapper, whats not to like!

Als ich die Sending erhielt probierte ich einen der Riegel. Er schmeckte muffig und nach einer Stunde war mir richtig schlecht bis hin zum Übergeben. Ich sah mir die Verpackung dann leider erst genauer an und stellte fest, dass das MHD am 02.02.22 abgelaufen war. Für den Preis hätte ich frische Ware erwartet. Finger Weg bei diesem Anbieter!

Super easy to put down in the middle of a long run. Doesn't take a full moon waxing and waining to chew it up and swallow. And it doesn't cause a lot of burping or heartburn like other products can.

I'm gearing up for the MS 150 bike ride and needed something I can eat while riding. I haven't had a chance to really test these on a long ride yet because of the weather. They do taste really good and the leaf as a wrapper is a great idea. I have a feeling I'll be buying more of them if they work like they're supposed to

The flavor is good but these are more or less just sugar blocks with a creamy center, not energy blocks.
