AC-DC Isolated AC 110V/220V to DC 5V 600mA Constant Voltage Switch Power Supply Converter Module

Was a bit worried after reading a few reviews but I figured people connected it the wrong way around and I was right. Tiny instructions on the lid that is hard to make out. Connect the side with 2 red wires (input) to 220v - it doesn't matter which way around they go. Note there will be a slight spark when connecting but ideally ensure power is off unless you know what you are doing. Also make sure the output is not shorting/touching each other or anything else for that matter. Then on the other side which is the red and black wire (output) you will get your stable regulated 5.00v supply. Works perfectly for now. Lets hope it lasts!

These work well and within spec.

I bought this to power a CCTV camera from a lighting circuit. It transforms mains power to 5V at a low current, equivalent to a USB power supply. So far, it's worked fine for several use. I took off a star only because it was difficult to open the case to solder a bare wire connection to the circuit board inside, and because the unit is a little fragile and needs to be protected inside some kind of case.

It arrived quickly and worked fine for two days then it literally exploded. Would not advise you buy this it's dangerous.

I purchased this little gem to power my Hive heating hub that is positioned under my boiler, the power supply is small enough to install inside the boiler terminal box and connected to the boiler supply terminals which are switched by the boiler spur unit. It’s been in service for around 6 months without any issues so a good little power supply that does the job well. Very pleased with it as this mod got rid of all exposed wiring.

These are not very good at all. Do not have the current output as stated, and quite poor quality.

I use these to power ESP32-WROOM-32D Arduinos (which have their own stabilising circuit on board so stability is not a concern) and they have quite happily powered both the Arduino plus a 8 solid state relay board as well as six DS18B20 temperatures sensors. I accept the concern about PCB spacing because its so small which is a good feature and hence the theoretical potential for mains contamination of the output, but this can easily be addressed with how you design and build your system along with building it into an isolation box. Attached picture is of it in use in the configuration described and it works perfectly.

Fitted to mirror that needed 5V supply. Nice and small. Fitted behind mirror and works a treat so far.

It took me a while to start using it, and not long after (maybe a couple of hours?), it stopped working. Of course, I double-checked all my connections and the load, but I suspect the issue is caused by a solder connection on the board that shouldn't be there. It's pretty disappointing, especially considering the price.
