Is this good for housekeeping for a large motel? I work in a 52 unit motel with large apartment sized rooms and all my old brooms have broke

NO! It is JUNK. And SHORT. Get yourself an old fashioned corn broom with the long wooden handle.

Upgrade handles construction as seller claimed. No more handle issue?

I have not had any issues with the handle

Do the bristle on this norm starch engineered wood floors

I do not know as I do not have engineered wood floors. I am pleased with this product on my hardwood floors and tile bathroom floors.
