O Ball 12 Linky Loops Toy

These are exactly what I've been looking for! I bought the Bright Starts Lots of Links first and the quality was really inferior to these, even though they are the same price.The plastic is what I would call "soft plastic." It's smooth to the touch, retains it's shape, and has a little bit of give. It's the same plastic that is used with all of the Oball products.I bought it to use with Oball arch and it's perfect for that.While I would have liked a few more "links," the rest of the shapes do provide a nice variety to create chains for various stimulation. The colors are bright and cheery just like the picture.The package is very well sealed and you'll need scissors or fingernails to open it. It arrives in an attractive hexagon shaped package that gives it a higher end look.I also did not receive a spiral and suspect that the one photo might be out of date. This pic from the back of the package shows exactly what was in mine. It looks like the spiral was replaced with a second hollow flower shape.

We purchased these rings when my baby was four months old to give her something interesting to look at and chew on. I'm so glad we did! She loved looking at and touching the different shapes. These links quickly became a changing table favorite and would keep her occupied the entire time we were changing her diaper. She would inspect the different shapes, shake them around, and chomp on them. Contrary to the other reviewers, I really like the fact that many of them are solid. When you have a chain of open links, often, the openings line up and the links, toys, and other random baby gear that you might have attached seem to fall off and get lost. This seems to make for a more secure chain. I am so happy that I found this set, as it was one of my baby's favorite toys from months 4-10. I would definitely try them out if I were you!

We already have a couple of sets of the standard plastic links, but these looked fun. The pieces are large and colorful and there's no paint to rub off since the color is embedded in the material. Some pieces are a harder plastic while others are more flexible. My baby is interested in these, but I'm not thrilled with this set. For one, there's only a few open ended pieces that can link the others. My biggest complaint is that the pieces that link are irregularly shaped and wavy and everything just slips off so easily. We're constantly losing pieces when we are out and about. I'm swapping out the linkers for the regular sassy links and hopefully we'll have a more practical combination.

We have the Sassy toy links . . . Everybody does!! What I like about these is they are unique, interesting for baby to grasp and explore, so interesting in fact that our son regularly plays with them without any other toy linked to the end. He has liked them since I first found them when he was 6 months old (he's 11 months now). He probably would have liked them sooner but I hadn't seen them!! Give 'em a try, you won't regret it!

These are nice, but I didn't get any of the spiral linky loops =( I purchased 2 packages of these with the hopes that they would allow me to link my sons Oball to his gym, stroller or carseat as this is his favorite toy. Both packages had exactly the same linky loops in it, no variety at all... There were only 4 in each package that had a split for hanging things so that left me with 16 plastic pieces that don't have a real purpose. The 16 other pieces are flexible but my son shows no interest in them. I am not going to open the second package, may use it as a gift later down the road but not worth it to ship it back.Update:I take back my words, in a way. I am still not happy that there are not enough linkable loops and that when I contacted the company they never responded but... My son LOVES these things. I used the 4 linky loops attached together and attached the non-linkable (no openings) to these. He makes it his mission to pull them apart and place them on the floor. He is only 6 months old and he doesn't play with any of his toys like he plays with these (and of course his original Oball!). I would recommend these for young children, it does work well with dexterity and motor development. Plus, the price is right, they are not expensive for a childs toy and they are very durable.

Missing pieces, rendering it useless!I understand that this is discontinued, but you could have posted pieces missing. You took the time to type discontinued.Very frustrating

These look very cute but not functional for attaching toys. The links open very easily and breaks the chain

As other reviewers have noted, not all of the pieces are true links, but I have a couple other sets of just plain links and so this is a great set to add some pizzazz and interest to the boring ring shape. Lots of different styles for baby to grasp and chew on. Probably won't work as your only link set, but really great purchase as a supplement.Also, the set I received had all the pieces shown... I think they updated the product picture to match the newest set.

Ich weiß schon gar nicht mehr wie oft ich dieses Teil jetzt schon gekauft habe.Für meine eigenen Kinder aber auch zum verschenken.Bei Kindern im Krabbel- und Sabberalter kann man damit einfach nichts falsch machen!Meine Kinder lieben es!
