Self Installation is difficult. I opted for the company installation which was chargeable at Rs 350/- I was planning to put up a Locker in our Living Room to keep petty Cash but post this product that need seems to be resolved and this works perfectly.

I have three of these. Loved them. They are not very strong but does the work of access control. Problem is that two these got reset automatically in recent months while my kids were playing with it ! After that they were accepting any finger print. Initially I thought this was a problem with one of them but after it happened with the 2nd one I was disappointed . Now it is confirmed that they have firmware/ quality issues and deserves one star. Please do not buy !

YLDRPB- BL The instruction was not fully described in the user manual Below is the method to do it 1) place your finger on the sensor 2) green light will comeout and the latch will retract 3) lift the finger once and place the same finger once again 4) continue to hold till long geen light 5) remove the finger, as soon as the finger removed the blue light will come up 6) now press 12 times 7) after pressing 12 times long green light will come and go away. that confirms the first user registration coming up to 2nd user follow the same step till 5th point from the same user who registered first now the 2nd user must press 12 times

So far so good. It’s working fine. At least peace of mind with small things in drawers are safe like watches n stuff

Having used 3 of these regularly over the past 4 years at work and needing to fit a new lock to a communal hallway I decided to buy this lock. I fitted the lock myself. I had hoped it would fit in place of the previous ERA key and latch lock that was already fitted, but it would not. I ended up fitting the lock and filling in the old holes using... Ronseal HPWFD550G 550g High Performance Wood Filler - Dark ...which is amazing stuff. Although fitting was not easy, it was not difficult either. The instructions are very clear and as long as you have all the correct tools and some diy knowledge you should be fine. Just make sure you spend a lot of time on step 1 with the template, a joiner once told me "measure twice, cut once" it is worth following that advice. I had some real trouble trying to hacksaw through the fastening bolts, in the end I used some large strong wire clippers and just clipped the bolts. The lock comes with a randomly generated 4 pin lock code, but this can be changed to a number of your choice (between 1 and 13 digits), they are 8191 possible codes. Tools needed: Drill, Drill bits 8mm, 13mm, 25mm (The 13mm and 25mm bit are hard to find, 12mm and 24mm should also work fine IMHO), Phillips Screwdriver size 2, Bradawl (though I managed without one), Chisel max 25mm, Hammer, Stanley knife, Adhesive tape, Pencil, Hacksaw, Tape measure. You may also need, wood filler, sandpaper, paint. I worked in a resource centre and loads of these locks where fitted, we never had any issues with them. I wouldn't use as a main lock on the front door to a home as I wouldn't feel fully secure. I plan to buy two more of these to fit on my shed/summerhouse doors. I would definitely recommend this product

Its not Yale. The lock has another name which is shame. I bought it as a Yale lock but i surprised as it arrived with different name.

Kit complet facile à installer juste je trouve que les perçages recommandés sont un peu trop larges si on est assez précis on peut réduire le diamètre de certains trous pour que ça tienne mieux en place. Seul bémol la poignée de devant est vraiment petite et pas pratique à attraper contrairement à la poignée de derrière
