I bought two of these. I have 1 on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra and the other on a MacBook Pro M3. I am playing music through them for hours, but then it just cuts off. I reseat the USB connection and it starts to work again. I may change this rating since I have it attached to a "Audio Switcher 3.5mm Audio Selector Splitter Box Mini 2(1)-in-1(2)-Out Audio Sharing Manual Selector Compatible Active Speaker((3.5mm Stereo Audio Switcher)" also purchased here. These connectors resolved the humming sound of the audio from using the 3.5 connectors directly to the devices.

Bought this for my classroom to work with my students headphones and the school issued Laptops.

I needed a USB audio adapter with integrated headset jack. It needed to work with USB 2.0 and fit strictly within a multi-port USB profile. Far too many USB audio adapters have cases that encroach on other adjacent ports. This adapter uses a standard USB plug and short cable to a TRRS connector that matches the standard headset jack on most modern computers and Android devices.It works perfectly with both Windows and Linux computers. I was able to set it up on my Linux ham radio support computer for use with fldigi and wsjt-x for digital radio communications. Of course, it does not include any rig control, but the ability to send and receive audio through the same USB port made connectivity with radio VOX pretty straightforward. It was far more stable and noise-free than the computer's integrated headset jack and only required one USB 2.0 port.
