BEST VALUE - Use Rice Bran Oil in place of all other oils. Great for grilling, sautéing, stir-frying and baking. Rice bran oil emulsifies easily and its light viscosity makes it perfect for salads and to use in marinades or as a dipping oil. Can last up to 40% longer than other oils in fryers. Foods cooked with rice bran oil can absorb up to 20% less oil, making it a more economical choice. Fryers, exhaust hoods and tools stay cleaner longer. Rice Bran Oil made in USA Bottles may vary.

Perfect five stars
I have used both this product as well as Rice Bran Oil 1/2 gallon and Tophe Pure Rice Bran Oil, 1/2 Gallon, and the taste, quality, and price are all about the same as far as I can tell. This oil is great for frying Chinese style and for use on iron cookware, as it can take the high temperature with ease. I have smoked it before, but usually intentionally when I am really trying to get a solid seasoning layer on an iron pan.I have a particular technique I use with this oil and iron pans, since although the oil can take high temperature, it is probably better for health if it is not excessively heated.First, I heat an iron skillet to the point where water drops boil and bounce on it. Then I turn down the flame and spread just enough rice oil to cover the pan. I let that get good and hot, at least enough for water drops to jump and boil again. Then I add plenty of oil and the food at roughly the same time, so that most of the oil doesn't super-heat.Chinese cooking also takes advantage of steam, by occasionally putting a little water, vinegar, wine, alcohol, soy sauce or other liquid (I even use green tea) into the hot pan while things are frying. That steams food, both on the bottom of the pan and above, so that not as much oil frying is required. One alternative for those who want variety in their oils is macadamia nut oil, which has a smoke point about the same as rice oil.

It is GREAT for deep frying as it has a high smoke ...
I purchased this oil to deep fry Italian canoli. It is GREAT for deep frying as it has a high smoke temp, doesn't seem to sog the item being fried, and smells fresh. It also also not on the allergy list (as opposed to peanut oil) so it helps reach more of my clients. I try to ensure I use the fryer for as many items as I can *after* the canoli are finished. I usually fry about 500 canoli per fresh oil container, then fry rosettes or other before either running low or having to toss. I purchase this oil often.

Rice Bran Oil
I had never heard of this oil, but ran across it while on Amazon looking for something different. I bought the gallon after reading all the reviews. Shipping was a bit high. Ouch! I received it quickly and tried it in my new fry daddy. It was great! No taste to speak of, no smoke and crispy home made french fries. (I tried it on something easy to see if I would like the taste). I will definitely buy this again. It seems to be a great all-around oil. Much better for you than soybean oil.

Expensive because of shipping
We decided to switch to rice bran oil because it has a high smoke temperature and a friend is allergic to peanut oil. Rice bran oil is only available locally is small containers and is expensive. We thought to save money by buying in bulk but it is heavy so with the shipping charges, we didn't save much.

It does exactly what it says!!!
Wow, my husband and I have been praying for something like this...oil we can use guiltlessly and still lose weight! Make no mistake, my husband and I workout and eat very healthy majority of the time. However, we feel having this oil has made a difference in helping reduce fat in our bodies! The oil is doesn't add any flavor to foods...but the food does taste great! We've used it for deep frying...food are very crispy! The oil lasts a much longer time in the deep fryer and the food REALLY doesn't absorb the oil and become greasy like other oils! We've used it for making dressing...it works great and doesn't add any funny tastes, just enhances! We've even used it to saute foods and had the same results...great tasting food! We're going to continue to make this the only oil we use!

Good stuff.
Since purchasing my deep frier I've used a couple brands of rice bran oil offered through Amazon and an satisfied with them all. I got this on this time because of the price. It seems just as good as the others. We use it for grilling and general cooking inside as well. Good stuff.

Love this oil and have started using it a lot. It's flavor is mild. It works well in baked goods. I like it for frying and baking. Rice Bran Oil and Coconut oil are my only oils these days.
