My dog needed a safe space after surgery and i wanted a open top pen with easy access rather than a boxed in crate . This is perfect for him its a nice height and durable and fab value for money. Easy to put together and you can size it as big are as small as you need . I will say please use the zip ties provided to secure the sides . My dog is old so its suitable for him but with a puppy i think you would need to not leave unsupervised as puppys jump and push . For my dog its great so happy i bought it.

Not bad for keeping your dog in a safe area for a short period of time. If your dog jumps against it, you risk it tipping over. It wont stay in the shape you position it too either so will need to keep adjusting it. If your dog is well behaved and just uses it to lie down for a bit then its good. Id suggest using tie wraps from panel to panel when you put it together to keep it more sturdy. Great how you can buy more panels to make it even larger than it is, I got the 8 panel.. I bought it for an English Bulldog and its more than big enough for her with plenty of space. From 5 months old the pup was able to easily move this around and almost tipped it over a few times. Now that she's a bit older and doesn't jump against it anymore, its great for her to sleep in when she needs a rest. Will probably be better for a smaller / lighter weighted dog or a very young pups play area.

This product like a child's playpen is great when you have a young or new dog in the house it provides a time out zone and also gives them a feeling of security. It is very easy to put together and take down, also when it's assembled the shape is not rigid, you can adapt it to a rectangular shape or a square or octagonal so it's handy if you're struggling for space between furniture etc. Once they're a bit older you can leave open the gate and we found the pet(s) still returned to the pen to lie down or drink water or if being trained to eat separately from older pets they would go to the pen to feed, drink or sleep so it really worked, the only concern we have is the gate latch the fastener is on the gate frame whereas there is a one inch long steel rod on the swinging gate which sticks out and we ended up covering it in electrical tape in case a pup blundered into it when having the zoomies...but it's an inconsequential thing if you plan ahead.

Bought this for an 8 week old husky, she easily climbed out of it. I think it's more suitable for newborn puppies. 5 stars because there's nothing wrong with it. Well built, easily assembled and solid.

Great at first but once they have been jet washed a few times they start to rust. If you are happy to respray them regularly then they are sturdy and great to pen in your pup
