But that's two screws into wood, one into drywall. For a thinner beam, I'd try something like the swing hanger offered by Marathon. I would recommend against just using an eye bolt because that is not intended for lateral motion (which kids do a LOT of in these things). Here's what I bought. It is tough stuff, has held up to a lot of abuse over three years (http://www.lasiesta.com/UR-C2/)Another option: (https://www.amazon.com/MARATHON-Swing-Hanger-Technology-continuous/dp/B007KXRAJE/ref=pd_sim_86_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=51zOy5QAGrL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL320_SR296%2C320_&psc=1&refRID=8MB8DB6M0CSQSCJFZF69) **Q: What is the difference in this swing and the Lori hammock swing that comes in pink and green? We have the pink Lori hammock swing now.** A: Both chairs have the same shape and size. The material is different. Lori Kids Hammock Chair is made out of Organic Cotton, Iri Kids Hammock Chair is made out of conventional cotton. **Q: why is this product discontinued ? are there any problems associated with this ?** A: Hi,I don´t know why this product is discontinued. I use it everyday for my 13 year old son. It is part of his phisical therapy program. It works perfect for us. **Q: this chair looks small --- why don't they tell the size in inches ? My granddaughter is over 4 feet and 60 pounds would this be OK for her ?** A: Yes, I believe so. My oldest kiddo is 43" and 34 lbs and can be all the way inside it. I am a petite woman (using my husband's Amazon acct) at 5'3" (105 lbs) and I can sit in it just fine. My head is above the top, but it holds me well and is very comfortable. These are amazing chairs. My kids use them every day, several times a day! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/53945767-la-siesta-iri-organic-cotton-hammock-swing-chair-for-children](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/53945767-la-siesta-iri-organic-cotton-hammock-swing-chair-for-children) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
