My doggo (a rescue) was soooo itchy and scratched paws to the point of bleeding. Had to be put on antibiotics to resolve infection. Then came Cytopoint shots and Apoquel..... finally not the bullet and had allergy testing done. NO FOOD allergies... but SUPER allergic to EVERYTHING environmental...32 kinds of grasses, mites, dust, pollen... you name it!! My FIRST recommendation is(altho it's expensive) GET THE TESTING! Vet originally ASSUMED he was allergic to certain foods, and recommendations included an "ellimination diet" which would have taken forever and, in his case, resulted in EXPENSIVE food changes that accomplished nothing because he had no food allergies. But... living in the country with his days full of exploring woods and ruining in fields, swimming in our pond and "tasting" everything in the garden, management of his allergies was a challenge. I've had him now thru 3 years and noticed the following: * his allergies seem to manifest the most during June- September. (I have taken him OFF Apoquel outside those months... and he has NO issues....I believe during heavy "mowing" season the grasses contribute to his particular sensitivity...(mowing the fields, where he runs, releases more allergens) * During summer, Even on Apoquel, his paws and scratching only somewhat improve during that time. * Adding this product SIGNIFICANTLY improved his symptoms and, in conjunction with the Apoquel, kept him from developing raw scratched paws. ***** I am now weening him OFF Apoquel, by giving him this product and the Apoquel on half- dose during summer only. At close to $200 / month ( cheaper at Sam's Club) that's not only cheaper, but being off Apoquel is better for him on the long term. MY SUGGESTION..... GET THE TESTING... IT'S WORTH IT as a starting point to determine cause of YOUR doggo's issue... they are all different. THEN.... keep track of dates and issues to narrow down and determine troubles and successful solutions. Ex: learning summer was the "trouble time" for my doggo, allowed me to NOT give him Apoquel the other seasons, AND be more vigilant with other preventative measures, such as doggy socks when he went out after fields were mowed, and washing his paws after outside activity during those months. EVERY DOGGY IS DIFFERENT. But take the time to learn what's best for yours. My vet is questioning why I don't use all the perscriptions anymore..... I'm happy to say that THIS PRODUCT ( yes, I've tried many) has DELIVERED!!! I will continue to purchase because IT WORKS!!!

I just started giving my dog these, it's been over a week. She seems to not be itching as much. I hope she stops itching altogether

These unfortunately did nothing to ease the itching of my two labs. I'm giving three stars because they loved the taste and were very excited when I asked them if they wanted their "Itchy treats." I'm glad that others have seen positive results. We are changing our dog's food and getting them into the vet, so hopefully we'll find a resolution with that.
