The Book of Incredible Information

Trivia pursuit with explanations. I have several book from the series. I bought two together; 'Mis-Information' and 'Incredible Information.' These similar books tell facts we didn't know and facts that we thought we knew or were taught, that are inaccurate. SIMPLE reads that explain the facts in a few paragraphs. It makes the reading pass by very quick and maintains a constant engagement. As someone with severe attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, reading a book was always difficult due to a waning interest. That's why these are great. It's interesting and concise .

I just purchased several of these books and they are so interesting. First I love how they look. Almost like the old Reader's Digest books. The content within is all true, interesting facts that you don’t normally think of during your everyday life but these facts are nice to know. I think these make really nice reading material for yourself or someone else and would be a lovely gift for a very reasonable price. I will continue every so often to pick up another one here and there not only because of how interesting they are but they are large books that have a lot of information in thm and you need time to not only read but absorb that information. I am really glad I found these books on Amazon and will give as gifts at Christmas this year.

Excellent book series, great gift ideas!!

I was excited to give this book to my nephew for his 13th birthday because he LOVES learning about facts. I bought it based on other reviewers who said they had given to their similarly-aged relatives, since there wasn't a "Look inside" feature and no age recommendations on the description. I riffled through the pages when it arrived and realized it was perfect for him (bite-size pieces of information that he can pursue further if he's curious) except for the Supernatural and Superweird chapter. He's more of a "Just the facts, ma'am" kind of kid. So I figured he could just skip that chapter, no problem. His auntie, however, happens to be very interested in the Supernatural and Superweird, so I started reading that chapter. It was fascinating! Unfortunately there was language in that section of the book that I felt uncomfortable giving to him, and I knew his parents would definitely frown upon it! His upbringing is a bit (okay, a LOT) more innocent than a lot of kids these days - he and his younger brother and sister don't watch TV, they don't have video games or phones, and they are home-schooled. No they are not Amish. :) I think the book is great, and probably would be fine for most older kids these days, as a typical video game is much more violent than the stories in the book. But I thought I would let others know about some of the language in case they are of similar mind as my nephew's family. Examples of the language I felt was inappropriate included mentions of rape, abortion, sexual assault by demons, murder, beheading, and the like. I understand he'll be exposed to this kind of stuff probably in the near future. But I don't want to be the one who does it!

Very interesting read. Great conversational piece to leave out for house guests to notice and read.

My husband loves these books. He keeps it by his living room chair and picks it up during commercials. He often shares what he read with me. I recommend it for any "nerdy" people who love random information.

Great for nerds like me!! I am getting the whole series one book at a time. It amuses me. Lol

Purchased as a birthday gift. It was well received and we may slowly have to start purchasing this series for ourselves as we took a peek and it was quite entertaining.

This book covers so many interesting things: articles, products, myths, superstitions, pets and much more. I think it would take a lifetime to read EVERYTHING in this book! It is great for anyone who likes interesting facts.

Possibly the best bathroom book ever printed. My hat size went up because of all the new silly knowledge I have gained.

I have a whole bunch of these books by now their great with a tone of information in them i really enjoy them and they look really nice on a shelf.
