Laundry Sauce - Pods & Scent Booster Bundle (Australian Sandalwood)

The Saffron scent is the best out of the two scents I've bought. This is one of my little luxuries (I know. It's like a mom getting a vacuum for her birthday and being actually excited. Haha!). The scent I usually buy is in the black box. It smells good, but maybe I've been using it so long that the smell isn't as noticeable after a wash. I don't think it was as strong as the French Saffron even after my first wash, though. It may be the addition of the scent boosters. I don't think that's the difference either since I've used the entire set for the other scent, too. Anyway, the French Saffron scent is to die for! It's has fruity undertones without being cheap smelling. It has a complex scent I don't think I've ever smelled before, and I've smelled every perfume Sephora carries in store in thr last decade (and have quite a collection). The scent is sweet with the tonka bean and fruit profiles, but the French Saffron scent evens it out and makes it more complex. The best part? It stays on the clothes and lasts until it's thrown back in the wash. It also uses more natural ingredients and less or no harmful chemicals. The box is thick with a metal closure for the detergent pods and the scent bead has a perfectly fitted slide off top. The entire thing is luxe, and because it's luxe in every conceivable way that I could think of for such a simple, everyday product, we are not talking value for money. There's really no good reason to spend $25 plus tax on a box of dryer sheets when you can get a box of Downy with more sheets for $6. There's no good reason to spend $99 on the entire set when you can get an entire set of Tide & Downy (comparable product types) for $40 and it will last longer. That's really the point, though. It's a wasteful, luxurious little thing that makes your day a bit brighter because it smells that good throughout the day. It doesn't rise to the level of the value of an expensive perfume, but it's close! The entire set is $99. That's a lot for someone who does laundry every day because of a husband who wears a work uniform and performs a relatively dirty job when outside of the office, and an 11 year old boy who's all boy. I mitigate that risk by only using it on a load of clothes that's mostly or all mine (because I'm the only one who cares) or our bedding. I keep some Tide and Downy around for the rest. Also, unlike other name brands, this brand can be used with trust. I don't ever open my front load HE washer with suds on the door and a probable residue on my clothes that is likely the culprit of skin irritation, like with brands like Tide. I've never had such a good experience with any name brand at any store, and those are the best you can get in store! I don't have any skin irritations and my son's eczema doesn't flare up. Most likely due to the lack of chemicals and sudsing agents that are common in other brands. I recommend this if you're looking for something luxe that you don't need. You'll love it! It gets my clothes clean and smelling great until they are dirty. I've never been sent a box without a protective foam and a seal that prevents breakage and leakage during shipping. It always shows up in perfect order whether I order from Amazon or Laundry Sauce directly. It is great in every way!

Wow! I am beyond amazed at these laundry products! I was hesitant to buy them because of the cost but I really love having my clothing / bedding / linens smell nice and never get a good scent with grocery store products. I bought the Australian Sandalwood scent in pods and scent booster. It is an AMAZING fragrance that is hard to explain but I could smell it all day and be in heaven. As soon as I got them, I immediately did a load of a sheet, two pillowcases and some clothing. You can smell the scent as soon as you open the packages. I added a pod and a bit of the scent booster to the load and washed them. When I took them out I was so happy that they totally smelled of the Australian Sandalwood scent. It was strong but not too strong. Do NOT believe others on here that say there is not much / any scent. I don't know what they are doing but that is not the case at all. Even after drying I could really smell the scent on all of my laundry. I put the sheet and pillowcase on my bed and immediately wanted to get into it and snuggle. It is just such a great smell and it lasts for a long time. I use it for all of my clothes, towels, bath rugs and bedding. I can't help it - I just want everything to smell like it. My clothes came out super clean and super soft, even without using any laundry sheets. I didn't want to ruin the scent so I skipped my usual dryer sheets. I actually ended up going to their website and buying the matching dryer sheets and softener. I wish Amazon offered the entire line of products as they are slightly cheaper on Amazon and the shipping is overnight compared to about 5 or 6 days from the company website. I also washed my 16 year old son's bedding and clothing in LS and even HE loves the scent. Now he asks me, as I am collecting his laundry, "mom you are using that special stuff on it right?".. I was so surprised that a teenager boy would care about this. I will never be able to use anything else now. This would make an amazing gift for that "impossible to buy for" person. I highly recommend. Try it, you won't be sorry!

This scent is our favorite! We've tried them all. It's the perfect blend of sweet refresh. We love how it stays on our clothes. People ask what perfume/cologne you are wearing. My skin is sensitive and these laundry pods are amazing. Plus, no mess. Easy peasy

Less than 24 hours. When I buy something I go all the way in. Let me explain what type of customer I am. I am a mom of three, two who have disabilities. My husband works hard and when I wash his clothes I wash twice. My mother lives with me, she has dementia. Sometimes she goes through three outfits a day. So laundry is my thing. I have a room. And I will spend money on smells. I like my mom to have her own good scent, our bedding, blankets, underthings, and my own clothes to have their own scents. For these "own scents" I will pay extra if it actually does what it's supposed to do. For the rest of our clothes I use GAIN because it gets the dirt out and also smells good on a budget. So when I read the reviews, when I read the description I was sold. I bought it ALL. The detergent, the smelly flakes, the softener and dryer sheets. When my laundry came out of the dryer I was so excited. When I put it on the bed I was so excited, that evening we pulled the covers back and I was excited because the smell was fantastic. The next day went on to our day, made the bed lived life. Went to bed and the smell was hardly there. I've used other less expensive products that do also smell really well and they truly last for weeks. This is overpriced expired baloney. Would I recommend this product. NO. Not at all. Presentation A+. But you have to live up to the expectations that you set up. And I thought I would at least get a good scent for a month let alone a week. I am so disappointed. Waste of money all the way around. Don't do it. Do you want to know who you should buy from. Tyler candle company makes a great laundry detergent and the soap itself works and a little goes a long way. It lasts for a month +!!! We use it at our vacation rentals. Diva laundry detergent smells so good. Worth it way more in my opinion. I'll definitely be going back.

Smells fantastic!! Love the packaging. It’s sturdy. The price is ridiculous of course. Quality is amazing! Cleans very well. I’m a waitress and I only use one pod. The scent beads last for a while! Clothes feel soft after drying. I do have sensitive skin, seems to be alright.

SMELLS AMAZINGGGG!! I’m actually excited to do laundry lol. Saw someone mention this on tik tok and had to try it! The packaging is so nice and it comes with a great amount of pods! (About 70) and some scent booster beads. I love sandalwood and cashmere so gave this one a shot first. It is a bit more earthy and masculine than expected but still great! Heads up it is very strong so if you have a sensitive nose I don’t recommend. I can’t wait to try the other ones next to find a signature scent. Also the box is really nice with a magnetic lid so will def be reusing that 😂📦

The Egyptian Rose smells amazing - luxurious, not cheap rose smell. I read some other reviews about the smell either not being strong enough or nor lasting, so I was a little worried. I bought the bundle with the detergent, scent beads and dryer sheets and did my first load of sheets using 2 pods, the beads and the dryer sheets. HOLY MOLY the smell was so strong! Almost too strong! It definitely lasted over a week and I went down to 1 pod and less scent beads for subsequent loads. I love this stuff and will definitely try other scents! Anyone who thinks the scent is mild or doesn't last is crazy.
