Fiskars Explore Travel Folding Scissors, TSA-Compliant, Mountain Haze

I bought these to go in my cross stitch box that I take with me to work. I had a VERY tight tolerance to work with, and this fit perfectly! They are super small, and at less than $6, I think anyone who wants them should get them lol. Like others have said, they are kind of hard to open. I think it's good that they won't come open by themselves, but I get a little nervous that I may cut myself while I'm trying to open them because of the force. Definitely not for people with weak hands or arthritis, maybe get a non-folding model that comes with a sheath instead.

Good scissors for traveling, compact, strong and sharp. Can use to cut medical gauze, tape, plastic or thin fabric, possible heavier, just haven't tried. Wanted something that I can fly with since you can't take knives or sharp pointy things to cut something.

Nice folding scissors that fit nicely into your travel case/bag. Blade length is 6cm/2.5 " so it meets Canadian travel requirements as well as US travel requirements. A little awkward to fold up the first few times, but one you get used to it, it is compact and stores easily with other toiletries or small space in your pack.

These scissors become very compact when you fold them up the only reason that I didn’t give it a better score is because as you fold it, it’s a little difficult to get the Scissors together. You actually have to work on it to get it to slide together you have to push the blades together and then flip up the sides and it’s very tight. The appearance is perfect. They’re very compact. I wouldn’t use these scissors for a long time, but if you’re using them to travel and just need to cut something quickly, these are the perfect Scissors for that.

Good quality, sharp perfect travel size and went through TSA with no issue. Good value.

great scissors! I use them at work as a spare set. I work in a cotton mill and run knitting machines. They fold up very small. Some times I use them once or twice a week and sometimes u sue them all day depending on the machines I run. I carry them every day and being folded up they don't poke me in my pocket like other scissors. They are convenient and good quality. Would highly recommend for someone who uses a small pear of scissors a lot.

Strictly speaking, there's nothing functionally wrong with these scissors. They do fold up into a nice, compact profile/package, but I can't recommend them due to how stiff the action is for unfolding in particular. The scissors are sharp and cut well, I bought these for an "edc" kit for my toddler along with some smaller utensils, silicone straw, and practice chopsticks. I use these to cut food down to bite sized chunks. The scissors perform well for that task and cut clean. I find due to the small size of blades and handles, it's sketchy to fold up just due to the form factor. If the handles weren't so stiff, they'd live in my daily kit. I found some japanese folding scissors that were better and slimmer. I usually am a big fan of FISKARS equipment, but these just missed the mark. Note - you might find these cheaper in a combo deal, so double check before buying.

The whole world should try to live up to the standard these scissors set. Why bother reviewing a five dollar product? I wouldn't. I don't. But this is not a "fi dolla" product, this is excellence and I am honor bound to pay respect.

Amazing ultra compact folding scissors! Less than 100mm when folded, only weighs about 15g, comfortable to use when open, sharp cutting edges, supposedly acceptable to airport security!!! - I haven't put that to the test!

A tesoura corta bem, prática, ocupa pouco espaço, só as articulações na hora de dobra-la é que são um pouco duas, mais nada como o uso para dar uma amaciada.

These (forest green) are made in China (not necessarily a negative), have a steel rivet and don't cut as well as the ones with the orange handles and orange plastic rivet. Would NOT buy again. Nothing against the seller, but the product is severely disappointing.
