The silicone pads that are supposed to grip the vent are too slick and the weight of the phone pulls the holder off the louvers way too easily. It is no fun to be driving along then have the whole phone and holder fall to the drivers floor board and have to fish around for it while tooling down the freeway at 70 mph. It stays in place about 60% of the time. Often just touching it to put my phone in it is enough to make it come right off in my hand. My other complaint is the one touch system. It is so sensitive that it closes before i can get my phone in place most of the time. Obviously no one tried it out before selling it. I messed around with it to try to make it work due to being busy but i should have returned it. But instead now just tossed it and am finding an alternative. The positive thing about it is that it does stick out far enough to make it possible for me to use the touch screen functions on my phone without removing it from the holder and i am 6ft 3in so I sit way back from the dash. and it was cheap to buy. But save your money because the friction system just doesn't hold. I have an S7 edge with a slim line case. So nothing extra heavy. Go for the type that clips onto the vent behind the louvers so it wont fall off over and over while you are driving. Maybe they could design it with a downward lip on the back of the pad that would go behind the louvers and hold it in place or make the pads clamp stronger and have some texture to them instead of slick silicone which just doesn't make sense.

Holds my Galaxy S7 well. It's able to securily hold it, with all three cases I have. The standard case, tough Otter type thicker case, and heavy battery case. The mount does not move around, and adjusts easily. Hardest part of this mount is actually putting the phone in.

I like this a lot, that why the 5 stars but it still not as tight and worry free that I needed. When you grab the unit to plug in phone or adjust it can come right off the vent too easily. Don't get me wrong, this is a great product at a great price so unless you want to spend more for something that is only slightly better that for you to decide.

i like the older version more. the new one has trouble staying in the correct position. the holding mechanism also has less flexibility than the older version.

I been using multiple phone holders but I got to said this is the best 1 I have ever bought super stable solid grab of the phone I highly recommended and btw my car is really difficult to get a right spot for it I have a Chevy Cruze and this holder works like a dream

Cute... but absolutely NOT durable, it broke within the first week of usage. It’s sucks because I purchased it in July and just opened this package- last Monday! Therefore, return policy has expired!!!😩

This phone mount has a nice design and good quality. It can fit phones with various sizes. If the back supporting legs could be adjustable, it would be even better. I recommend it.

The installation was quick, easy and secure. The two legs provide great stability and limit movement through vibration. A great product at a terrific price.
