Bore Sight 9MM/223 5.56/12GA Red Dot Laser Zeroing Bore Sighter Pistol Laser Boresighter with 3 Sets

I've used several of these lasers from different manufacturers, some I purchased and some we're at the range or friend's. It's true that many are spotty in their accuracy, requiring you to find a "good" one from most manufacturers. Now, it is possible that I just got lucky and received one that was accurate out to 100 yards, but anecdotally from other peoples' reviews and a couple of other guys at the range, these seem to be accurate for most people who use them correctly. This laser, unlike some others I've used, is very solid, with no loose or rattly aspects. I've read some people saying they had trouble with the batteries but I don't see how or why that would be the case unless they didn't read the one instruction in the box. The one that says to remove the plastic sleeve from the batteries before installing them. I've also read about them getting stuck in the chamber of their weapon. Not trying to be too judgmental here but I would wager that most of those chambers were not well cleaned using solvent and gun oil because my meticulously cleaned RF-15 AR platform weapon's chamber slid it home and ejected it with zero trouble. Treat it just like any shell. Put it in a mag, pull the charging handle and let it slide in. I just let it slam home, but you may want to slide yours in slower holding the charging handle throughout. Me, I want my equipment to work under hard conditions so I let it rip. It worked flawlessly chambered both ways. DON'T just try to slide it into the chamber through the ejection port with the bolt carrier locked back unless you want to use your cleaning rod to poke it out. So, with all of that in mind I would most definitely recommend these bore sight lasers to anyone. I'm buying more so I have one in each of my weapon cases. IF, by any chance I find any flaws with ANY of them I WILL amend this review to reflect those issues. I take all of my weapons, loadouts and support gear very seriously so you can assume that if this review has not been changed to reflect any issues with further units or versions of these bore sight lasers that they all performed as well as the one I am reviewing here. Excellent product, I would buy again

This laser bore sight is a handy device for anyone who wants to zero their rifle scope quickly and accurately. The laser is bright and visible even in daylight, and it fits snugly into the chamber of any .223 or 5.56 caliber rifle. The battery life is decent, and the switch is easy to operate. The laser bore sight comes with a protective case and instructions, and it is very easy to use. Just insert it into the chamber, turn on the switch, and adjust your scope until the crosshairs match the laser dot. Then remove the bore sight and you're ready to shoot. I have used this bore sight several times and it has saved me a lot of time and ammo. It is also very durable and reliable. I would recommend this bore sight to anyone who wants a simple and effective way to zero their scope. For the price you can’t expect it to be perfect. It’s gets you on the paper but it’s not a perfect 9mm . Would exactly fit into the bore and the batteries are an experience in how to loose your cool and spend numerous attempts getting on your hands and knees finding those little sons of biscuits all over your kitchen floor. It’s ok for the price, if you need perfection just spend another $100 for a larger name brand.

Was able to sight in multiple rifles decreasing the amount of rounds at range adjusting to get zeroed.

I got this from Feyachi last week and gave it a test. Since all my .223 rifles are already sighted in I just compared the laser dot to where my scopes crosshairs are. The first image (with writing on it) is a Mossberg MVP 16 inch barrel with a 6-24X scope that's zeroed at 100 yards. The wall is about 10 yards away and as you can see it lined up great. The second image is a Savage 110 with 26 inch barrel with a 6-24x scope and a 20 MOA mount that is zeroed at 100 yards. The dot is low and left. The third image is a 24 inch AR15 with a 6-24x scope and 20 MOA mount that's zeroed at 100 yards. As you can see it lines up similar with the Savage (probable from the longer barrel and 20 MOA mount. Fourth image is a 16 inch AR with a 4-12x scope. The reflecting spread I think is caused by a linear compensator I have on that rifle. But it still is close enough to bore sight it. Overall I think it worked great.

Sighting in a new gun — or re-zeroing an older rifle — can be a very frustrating chore… It can be such a hassle, in fact, that often, we sometimes end up neglecting that first day at the range for fear of pulling our hair out as we chase shots all over the paper — if we even hit paper from the start. Traditional bore sighting involves some guesswork. But now, instead of engaging in a procedure equivalent to tossing darts at a dartboard while looking through a rolled up newspaper, a Feyachi Bore Sight system can simplify the whole process for you. It did come with a handy carrying case for the bore sight and the extra batteries it comes with. This bore sight is easy to use, and worked reasonably well. Because the Feyachi operates in the chamber and sights down the length of the bore, it proved to be very accurate and extremely easy to use. I simply turned on the laser and loaded the unit, adjusted the sights, and took a shot. At 25 yards, the Feyachi got me on paper after the first shot, and it only took two more shots to get the open sights adjusted. The accuracy off the bench held true at 50 yards. I can absolutely recommend this product as striking a great balance between price, portability, ease-of-use and usability.

556 Didn't work for my AR-15...could not get a solid laser beam to emit from the barrel...the beam was distorted, and the image that was projected looked more like a circular bubble...it looked like the muzzle break was interfering with it and causing the beam to look weird. The 9mm did not work for several different pistols that I own....the chamber would not close all the way and because of that, the barrel was not resting in its proper place...so I was unable to zero my optic...both laser bores were a complete failure to me :(

I set it at night as my crosshairs are illuminated. I set at 150 yards. Just look through the scope and set vertical and windage in less than 30 seconds they overlapped until the red dot was hidden behind the crosshairs. Next day first shot could hit a pop can. No ammo loss or doubting if I'm shaking or scope is out a click or two . It's fast and accurate and makes no noise unlike the rifle . Ammo save paid for the cost of the bore sighter.. no brain situation in my opinion.. I love the make. Also have Feryachi triggered green laser and triggered bflashlight. All have worked solid and often for almost 2 years.

It ain't perfect. One of the battery sets was dead. I wouldn't say it's perfectly calibrated for center at 100 and the laser is pretty weak in the daylight. All in all it got my sights in the right ballpark and saved me a few rounds. Pretty cool!

I used this once to sight in my rifle. Barely worked, laser was not calibrated in the sleeve and was partially hitting the inside of barrel making a weak blurry dot on target. I was able to sight in the scope but after more rounds than it should of taken. I went to use it again 2 weeks later and the laser is now so off that the beam doesn't even come out of the bore sighter anymore. You can see the red inside the sighter but the beam is now deflecting inside the sleeve and is now completely useless. It is now where it belongs, in the garbage. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra bucks for something at least half decent.
