Packed 4K Webcam Boasts 10X Optical Zoom!
The 4K webcam from IFWAETR takes video calls and livestreams to the next level with its integrated 10X optical zoom lens. Clear facial focus as well as the ability to zoom in on objects makes for professional production quality. I like that it supports HDR and low light correction. Plug-and-play for PC. Tripod mount for studio-like setups! I highly recommend this treat.

Robust camera, decent lens, overly sensitive adjustment
It's a good camera but the difference in adjustment from where you want it to unusable image is only a hair away. It can be adjusted but it seems ideally suited to fixed location use and not a variable location.

Great Manual Focus 4k Webcam
Manual Zoom/Focus with Aperture for various lighting levels? Check!1/4inch mount hole for use with standard tripods? Check!Long USB Cable built in? Check!Records in 4k at 30 fps? Check! This is best used for a still scene, so set it up at least some distance, feet, not inches from a desk where you are streaming from, a whiteboard, a "scene" and dial it in with focus, zoom, and aperture for lighting. Works pretty well in fairly low light with correct adjustment. The microphone is just okay if you are close by, like Webcam use, otherwise use a studio mic where your sound is coming from.

Terrible picture quality.
No way is this 4K unless it’s upscaled. It has a very narrow depth of focus and the lens controls are hypersensitive. Normally you zoom in, focus, then zoom out. But that doesn’t work with this lens. Only a small part of any shot will ever be in focus, but only a soft focus at that. Disappointing even for the price.

Amazing 4K camera with a great lens, but microphone doesn't work
This is a great 4K camera. When used as a video camera, it captures at 3840 x 2160, which is the standard 4K video resolution. When used for still images, I was able to capture at 2592 x 1944 pixels, which is around 5 megapixels. The manual mentions software for Windows that allows you to adjust settings, but I don't have a Windows system available, so I couldn't see if it's possible to capture still images at other resolutions. The product description claims that it includes a built-in stereo microphone, and my computer recognizes it as a microphone, but I wasn't able to record any audio with it.The camera includes a mount that allows you to attach it to a solid surface with screws (included) and swivel it 90 degrees vertically. The case also includes standard 1/4 inch camera mount holes on the top and bottom, so it can easily be used with standard tripods. The real star is the lens -- it's quite a large lens with manual zoom, focus and aperture settings. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to focus clearly when at maximum zoom, and had to back off the zoom a little to get a clear picture. As a desktop webcam, this would work pretty well at the lowest zoom setting, but would only show your eyeball or nose when zoomed in all the way. Where this would really shine is in a setting where the camera is further away, like a classroom or office where you're trying to capture video of a whiteboard.
