Great !!
This net is awesome. I have used it at the skyway pier many times. It works great. When tide current is moving very fast, the net does not sink fast enough. Can still get bait.. but this net works much better within hours of high or low tide. Slack tide obviously best since water is not moving much. Still completely worth the price. Iโve caught hundreds, probably thousands of bait fish. The very small greenbacks can get gilled in the net, usually the ones that are 1-2 inchesโฆ but itโs maybe only 5 caught up by their gills in the net and the rest plop out easy. The bigger the bait, the less likely that is to happen. I even caught a Spanish Mackerel with the net. Completely random.. had no idea till I pulled the net out of the water. I have zero complaints. The video I took was on the worst day ever. There was no bait at the pier all night. That was considered a good haul that nightโฆ when normally, one could pull in a hindered of them on one throw. But what can I saw, when the fishing is good, I donโt have my phone in my hand, I am took busy fishing. So that is the best I can show you. It catches bait, the bait catches fish.

BIG, but easy to throw
Aluminum ring definitely make the throw a little easier, I ordered 4ft diameter but got closer to 8ft. Don't know it that was a screw up or just how its is. But again the ring made my new "8ft" cast net way easier to throw than my old 4ft one I bought this unit to replace.

Watch video before you use will make it much easier
Quality good great value for the money. If youโre just learning, I would get a smaller size weight is OK. Durability good mesh quality good. Not unless the shed are really thick on top of the water. You need a net with heavier, weights, salt water, preferably

It's just a net guys... nothing special.
Not a bad net, but is not this god send of a cast net as they claim. I throw it equally as well as a standard net... I fail about half the time.

Safe for koi!
My koi pond is too large to use a normal net, and I needed something to catch my fish when they're sick. I was really worried about harming the koi, but this net worked perfectly! It only took a few practice throws to get used to it. It sinks quickly, holds the fish securely without hurting them, and releases easily. I've been able to catch my big guys (24") and little guys (2") with this net, and none of them were hurt. Definitely less stressful than trying to corral them into a corner with a pond net!
