MOMILLA Sunrise Alarm Clock

I purchased the Sunrise Alarm Clock, Smart Wake-up Light, and in the past 10 days, I must say it has completely transformed my mornings. It's not your typical noisy, jarring alarm clock. It gradually brightens the room to simulate a sunrise, gently awakening you to a peaceful and natural beginning to the day. One of its most notable features is its app compatibility. I love having the ability to control my alarm and other settings through the app. All settings, including the alarm, tone, volume, and lights, are easily controlled through the app. Additionally, this alarm clock is compatible with Alexa. I find it extremely convenient, especially when I don't feel like getting out of bed or reaching for my phone. This alarm clock also has two alarms, which makes it a great buy. My husband and I have different wake-up times, which makes this perfect for us. We can each set our alarm and wake up at our preferred times without disturbing each other. It's a small detail, but it makes a big difference in our morning routine. The FM radio feature is a nice addition as well. The sound quality of this clock's built-in speaker is surprisingly good. The reception is clear, and I can easily switch between stations using the intuitive controls. And as a heavy sleeper, the snooze function of this alarm clock is a game-changer. I tend to hit the snooze button multiple times, and this clock allows me to customize its duration. I recommend this sunrise alarm clock to anyone who is looking for a sleek and needs a dual alarm. The app makes setting up so easy and fast.

This alarm clock wake-up light has so many features! It supports smart life app control and it works well with my Alexa for voice control. it is really easy to setup all the things on app. I like the sunrise wake up light feature. The light wakes me up gentenlly before 120 mins and if I hit the snooze button it continues with its unique form of waking up. The snooze button is 5-20mins, up to 5 times you can snooze. This is just what I needed to get me out bed in the morning. I also enjoy the FM radio, atmosphere light, sleep aid function. Just tap the button on alarm clock. I love the variety of settings to choose from, for example there is 3 modes of natural sound, decreasing, increasing or normal. Different levels of brightness, volume, etc. I like the Aurora lighting effect and Yoga nature sound. There are so many options to choose from. and I am still working on discovering more functions of it. What a great value for a great price. highly recommend this MOMILLA alarm clock!

It worked great for year, but then noticed a few months ago it wasn't connecting to the Wi-Fi or to the app. After unplugging it and plugging back in, it would finally connect. Today I noticed it wasn't connected to Wi-Fi and now it won't connect at all. If it doesn't connect to Wi-Fi , you can't use the smartlife app. I've tried multiple time to add it to the app. The app can find the clock, but it keeps saying failed to add device. I've tried everything and ufortunately, I threw the instruction manual away awhile ago. I've tried to look up instructions on the internet, but the only manual is for a different model that uses different buttons. Looks like this clock is a loss.

Great alternative to the hatch while being more budget friendly. I just wish there were more sound options and less harsh lighting even on the low setting. I have a hard time with it being too bright for me to sleep. It also sometimes has a really hard time connecting to my phone through the app to change settings and turn it off when needed.

The gentle graduated wake up light really is a game changer for the dark cold months of the year. It has been far easier to wake up and have energy sooner. I don’t find myself snoozing this like I do other alarms. My husband and I only use the light function to wake up, not the sounds. Some of the relaxation music is nice but I’d avoid using the nature sounds - they are pretty fake and sound tinny. Over all I would say the clock and the light are of good quality and I am pleased with what I got for what I paid for it and what we use it for. If having a good sound machine is important to you, I’d say either get a fancier product or else just use a speaker and your phone because the speakers on this don’t produce amazing sound (but I didn’t expect them to and don’t really care). If all you’re after is a nice gentle, reliable wake up lamp that you can have a variety of time settings on, this is a great product. One thing to note: only ONE phone can be paired to this device. It connects via WiFi, not Bluetooth. When we tried to pair my husband’s phone it booted mine off. So if you’re sharing this you will need to decide ahead of time whose phone will be in charge of controlling the alarm.

The only function that alexa can do is power. You cannot control the brightness or the sleep/ wakeup sounds thru the alexa. There is no way to set a sleep noise routine, either through alexa or through the smart life app. I wanted something that would have sleep noise until time to wake up and then start a sunrise. I wanted this to be done automatically at a set time, preferably via a routine with alexa, but it cannot be done at all on this product. Sleep noise must be turned on and off manually each time. I was unable to determine if the sleep mode would last the entire night. It will allow you to set alarms, but you don't control the starting brightness, just the amount of time to get to full bright. You also do not have all sound options for the alarm, only about 6 of them. The lowest brightness is extremely bright. If you only need an alarm and an occasional light or sound, this will work. It's not poorly made, just had absolutely none of the features that i purchased it for.

I wish I hadn't waited so long to get a sunrise alarm clock. After installing blackout drapes to block city lights, I struggled to wake up in the morning. This sunrise simulator tricks my body into waking up naturally in response to the 'dawn' at a time of my choosing. I don't use any of the other features such as the night sleep wind-down, pre-installed music or audio alarms. The clock is not very attractive, and admittedly, the sound isn't quality but the app feature to set up the clock makes up for any shortcomings. The setup was incredibly easy; I plugged the clock into the wall, downloaded the app, connected to wifi, and the clock was ready to use. The clock automatically sets to the correct day and time just by being connected to wifi. The app has excellent settings; of particular interest to me was choosing the length of time for the increase of light intensity in the morning. For example, if you want to wake up at/by 6:30 but you want the light to intensify gradually over 30 minutes, the dawn starts at a low glow at 6:00 and reaches peak intensity at 6:30. I find I'm usually awake within the first 10-15 minutes of dawn initiating. I definitely recommend this sunrise alarm clock. It is well-priced and works perfectly.

I gifted this for my niece and she loves it. She tends to nap after school and will not wake up until 7pm — which causes her to sleep really late by bed time. The light has been helping her wake up and she likes the alarm sounds that comes with it. She will also use the light to calm her anxiety and be peaceful when she’s studying or reading! I’ve tested out another similar light and didn’t like it for myself, was too confusing to use and I could never get the alarm to work properly. This one was waaay easier to use.

Clock sometimes jumps ahead 1 hour. Still battling with it to find out why

I can't figure out how to make the thing work properly. The settings are too confusing. You don't seem to be able to make the main light turn on on whatever setting you were using. There is almost no control to brightness and volume. I'm returning it. It's pretty

It has everything I wanted it to do and other functions I didn't know it could do. You can set it with two alarms and set it to go off either weekdays or weekends.... Love the sunset feature... It helps to soothe the mind and this wind down from the busy day. Takes some time to figure the buttons but, not a deal breaker for me. Love the ambient colours and how they move about. I'll update my review later... Maybe put a picture? TBD.
