Wobbly Railing
The price point was right for us and it fit well at our dock (though we'll need to carve out the decking where it sits). The only problem is that the railing is really loose and moves when you're trying to use it. It's fine for most, but we own the cabin with grandparents who need more stability.

The lip that attaches to the deck s woefully short.....
We actually like the steps, but the metal lip that is bolted or screwed to the deck is waaay too short, minuscule even. We found it necessary to angle the screws into the deck. Also, the railings need to be shimmed as they wobble quite a bit

Safe for stepping down from dock?
Disliked the narrow & rough steps. Two of us had to assemble it!

Amazing Value for the Money
Vevor products in general have been hit or miss for me. Some have been very low quality, others acceptable. This is by far the best product with the Vevor name on it that I have seen. These stairs completely surpassed my expectations.Build quality is very good. All the welds are clean and strong. At this price I was expecting bare aluminum or maybe a clear coat, but this has what appears to be a very high quality powder coat and a clear coat. The edges are all smooth, the aluminum is thick and super sturdy. This is the quality I would expect for 2x or 3x more money. There are a few issues to be aware of, but overall these stairs are well worth the money and a great value. There are only enough washers included to use them on the nut side of each bolted connection. I wanted to use washers on both the nut and bolt sides, especially in the stair treads, so I had to supply extra stainless steel M8 washers. Not a big deal to me, I had them on hand. The other issue is that the stair treads are a little difficult to assemble. They edges are bent around the both the front and the back where the bolts need to be secured, making it impossible to get a socket on these. Using a 13mm wrench on that side and a 13mm socket on the other side works.Height is set using a bolted connection. It's not difficult to do when setting these up, but if you need to adjust the height it will require taking 4 sets of nuts and bolts out to do it. Not a big deal for me as they will stay at one height.Other than these small issues, the stairs are amazing, especially for the price. Highly recommend these for anywhere outdoors where stairs of this size are needed.

sturdy strairs for the price!
Highly recommend for a set of budget stairs. The quality is good, the sturdiness is good and the price is much cheaper than building a woof set

Completely useless
Some things you can't tell from this ad, the steps are only 2.5in wide, and you may get the version that has no rubber as they note in asterisk. Which means you have a bare metal step that is really only the thickness of a ladder step, there is no way to stand on this! Imagine trying to walk up and down a ladder as a step, now put it in water where it's slippery, complete garbage. The next issue is how loose everything is, even after fighting the instructions that made no sense and we're useless, everything could not be tightened enough. So holding the handrail, which you'll need to do, causes the entire thing to wobble and shake. Forget about trying to use it at the max height they say it can fit, the legs wobble so bad at this height you could never use it.I can't return this, so it was relieved and thrown into the trash immediately, what a waste of money this vevor brand is a scam

Really nice looking, a few quality issues
The stairs themselves are vey nice looking. They are coated... not just bare aluminum. It feels like the coating reflects the sun's heat, so the top tread doesn't get not when it's in full sun. The riser height is comfortable. The tread depth is a little shallow. For something called "stairs" I would have liked a tread depth closer to a standard tread depth. But the 4 step unit doesn't feel particularly uncomfortable to climb. The packing list and instructions don't tell you what size the bolts and nuts are. I was guessing that I needed a 1/2 wrench. That worked for most of the nuts and bolts, but a few required a 13mm wrench instead. One of the included nuts was the wrong size, so I had to buy another. That's not a big deal, but that was when I realized the nuts and bolts were metric.I would have liked to have twice as many washers as was included. Some of the holes are only slightly smaller than the bolt head or nut. It feels like it wouldn't take much for the aluminum to deform, and the bolt/nut to give lose. I wound up buying the extra washers for a couple bucks. The width at the bottom support is such that I couldn't actually use 2 washers. You're supposed to use a flat washer and a lock washer. Because of the width of the bottom support, I was only able to use the flat washer. In order to get a 2nd flat washer and the lock washer, I had to buy a longer bolt... again, for a couple of bucks. The square connection extensions from one of the rails were twisted making it difficult to insert into the uprights. I was able to assemble both rails with a little extra work.In general, I think this is a really nice set of stairs. It seems to be a good value. But there are a few minor quality issues.
