Dragon King's Horse Blue by Papo

My kids love these figures! We found them for the first time while visiting Medieval Times and they have started a collection.My kids are 6 and 11 so finding toys they both find interesting (and not electronic) can be challenging. For their birthdays they each got new figures as well as a Melissa & Doug castle - which are great. We went with the Melissa & Doug brand due to having better reviews than the Papo castle and being more affordable.Although we didn’t know when buying, they can either use them singly or assemble them together to make one big castle (see pic.)The knights all look great standing or on their horses - they don’t bend but they are designed very well to look natural in both positions. Some knights don’t have horses but most have the option to switch shields/weapons from hand to hand, and some come with a third weapon on their back which is interchangeable as well. The mutants are a fun addition.The detail is fantastic and they are durable - I don’t see any of the figures or weapons breaking easily.Some horses can be set up to be running or standing on their hind legs - again not pose-able but designed well enough to look very good in both positions.The only item that fell short was the crossbow/ballista. The rubber band isn’t tight enough to make it shoot well and it’s very difficult to get it to work. My kids use them as props but it would’ve been nice if they were more functional.Overall, we are very happy with these toys.Great figures, great castle!

The kids liked playing with it. I love the design and everything. I wish I could find more like it.

This horse is full of detail and absolutely beautiful. My son has never had an interest in knights, but Santa brought him a castle and a few of these pieces. He LOVES them. I am impressed by the detail and the color of the horse. My son has played with them non-stop since Christmas day!

These are well formed play figures but are very heavy and too solid for young kids. I can just picture a youngster throw one and it sales thru a window or hits someone which would be painful. Again much older kids or adults only.

I got this and several other same like theme items as a cake topper for my 11 year old daughter (who is Autistic). She fell in love with it as soon as she saw them on her cake. Its a very sturdy toy well built for rough play.

Really nice symbol of the ideal feudal horse of a knight.

My Grandson and I have become big fans of knights, their horses and dragons. We are crazy about these perfect Papo figurines. This purchase was a huge hit with him and his family!

Product meets all expectations I had of it. I got it along with the Blue Dragon King for my 2.5 year old who is very into Knights, Dragons, etc and he loves the set.

I almost bought some that were twice the price before I stumbled across these. I would say they are on a par with the expensive ones and the price is much more palatable. I suspect I appreciate the quality far more than my Grandson will, but I know he will love them. Most impressed!

Really lovely Horse but didn't overly last a long time. My son possibly a bit too young to have something as delicate as this. Purchased for his 5th birthday. Quite small for the price too but think before you buy as are delicate.

These knights are brilliant. Great value for money. Beautifully designed and well made. Love the detail on them. My kids love them. I think I'll get some just for me!!
