Actually sucks!
This is my third brand in as many months and it's the first one to actually suck the air out. I've only tried it once but it worked perfect

Very cheaply made
When I unboxed it I could tell it was cheaply made. In reading the instructions you have to pay attention to which side is up or down with the bag's. Then the instructions reference to possibly damaging the foam gasket. Guess that's why they include 2 replacement gasket's. You have to pay attention to what you are vacuuming. Moist, dry, and canisters . Each have a process. The entire body is flimsy low grade plastic. This is not a plug and play type vacuum sealer. I will spend more for a Food Saver vacuum sealer. This one is going back !

Great suction and sealing
We’ve had several vacuum sealers over the years from high end to pretty basic. All have had their quarks and issues. In recent years during times of heavy use we’ve used two machines to do big jobs, one for making bags (from rolls) and one for doing the actual suction and sealing, because each machine has its limitations. So I went into this new one with similar expectations.First impressions upon unpacking are that the build quality feels a bit lower than our others. It’s pretty lightweight and the lid flexes more than our others. There is a label inside stating that you should let the unit cool for 40 seconds between sealing which right away makes me think this machine isn’t going to be our summer harvest workhorse. But it’s smaller than our others so it could be the one we reach for to split up large packs of food for the freezer. It comes with 2 bag rolls of different sizes, 2 extra gaskets and a couple of accessories for rigid containers that we don’t have and won’t really need. I reviewed the instructions before starting, but this machine works like the others we have so no big surprises, but you definitely need to pay attention to the order in which to press the control button. It took some trial and error to get it to pull a vacuum. After some frustration and rechecking the instructions, I inspected the gasket that came installed and saw it was heavily dented in spots. After replacing it with one of the included spares it worked great! It might actually pull a better vacuum than all of our others which is a big surprise!I expect this will be the go to sealer for lighter jobs and a backup for the freezer filling weekends when we need a faster turnover rate than this little sealer can handle (40 seconds doesn’t sound like a lot until you’re looking at 40 salmon that need to get filleted and frozen in a day!)I’m impressed with the vacuum power and good sealing of this unit, and the bags that come with this work well and are holding up great in the deep freeze.

I always wanted to try this and I’m glad I finally did!
I had been interested in trying a vacuum sealer machine for a long time, and I finally took the plunge and bought one. Overall, I am quite pleased with the results I have achieved. However, I did find the instructions a bit challenging to follow as the print was very small. It took a few attempts for me to realize that I needed to click the two corners of the sealer into place to ensure a proper vacuum seal. I used the machine to freeze some slider-sized hamburger patties, and they turned out great. The included three rolls of bags were a nice bonus. The only downside is that there is no storage container provided for the unit, tools, and bags. Overall, I would definitely recommend this vacuum sealer machine to others.

Vacuums and seals great!
This is a compact unit that came with three sizes of bags. It also has a "cork" to seal wine bottles which greatly extends the life of a bottle of wine if you are like me and only have a glass now and then. I was very happy it worked with my hand-held vacuum sealer lids (see 1st pic). I used the canister setting to seal peanut MMs in a quart jar for storage and the dry seal to keep some left over holiday puffs preserved. The machine did a fine job extracting the air and then sealing the bag (see pic 3). Seals were complete (see pic 2). The bag cutter was a little tricky to get it to work - had to manually place bag under cutter, then it cut the bags easily. That seemed a little awkward and the reason for 4 stars. For the cost and the extras that came with this machine, it is a nice unit that gets the job done. If you question whether vacuum packing food for the freezer makes a difference, I have pulled out vacuumed packed fish that got shoved to the back of the freezer 6 years after it was caught, and it tasted like it just came out of the lake. No freezer burn. So this little unit can save a lot of money in tossed food!
