Just The Basics
While in theory, this is a good idea to get you started for your pumpkin pie for the fall, this isn't going to work for some. Mostly because the company really needs to encase this pie crust in a supportive container. How in the world they expected this to arrive in tact by just layering the top of the crust with a plastic shield and then putting the cans and spreader in that and all inside of a thin clear plastic bag and expect it to arrive safely is beyond me. Even with the most delicate of handling. Actually, I was surprised at how well in tact mine arrived considering they left everything up to the service. With that said, my crust was still dented and somewhat too crumbly. I ended up having to place the crust with the metal tin inside of a traditional pie plate for baking so it didn't fall apart in my oven. You get the basic ingredients here. You're still going to need your own spices or any other special ingredients if you so choose to use them. I have them because I'm spice crazy, but it would be a nice touch to offer a little spice packet with this set for those living sparse. Everything is a well known name brand, so you will be getting a fairly safe and good product. There are recipes on the back of the pie crust label, but not for this sort of pie. Better to use the recipe on the canned pumpkin, unless you have your own and go with that.Ultimately, it's not as good as I get at my local Amish market, but it's better than the prepared ones I can buy at my local grocery store. Easy enough to make and good enough to eat. Also good enough to take with you as a treat on Thanksgiving.

pay for convenience
i actually like this concept. i like that you can just get kits to make things with instructions. it definitely makes it easier for someone like me that doesn't want to go out and try to find every single ingredient down multiple aisles across the store. you're definitely paying for convenience with these though in my opinion.

Arrives broken, poor value.
The crust arrived broken and the foil pan bent a bit. I don't see any way that this wouldn't arrive with a broken crust with the way they are packaged by seller. The pie crust comes wrapped in bubble wrap, with the canned ingredients sitting atop the bubble wrap but still in the pie area. All of this is bagged together. There is no box around this to prevent any other items from damaging it if boxed together by Amazon. The canned ingredients are as expected, the pie slicer is a little odd in design and quite thin. It likely won't make it with a more substantial pie.The value on this kit is not good, unless you just don't have access to these items locally. This is about the price of a similarly sized, already baked, grocery store pumpkin pie where I live so definitely not worth the current price tag.

Delicious
Easy to make and cook. Convenient pack. Graham cracker crust was crumbly and edges were falling down though.

good quality ingredients, but wrong kind of crust
This is a kit designed to make it easier for someone to make a pumpkin pie, but it includes a graham cracker crust which, in my experience, has never been used for pumpkin pie. It's too crumbly and isn't designed for long bake times (and pumpkin pie takes a long time to bake). So, I feel like this kit doesn't include not only essential fresh ingredients like eggs, but it also requires me to make or buy another proper crust. A mix for making a shortcrust would have been better. The graham cracker crust on mine came cracked which also means the custard for the pie will leak through the crackers and stick to the bottom of the tin. The pumpkin puree and evaporated milk are very good quality though, but this isn't the best value as the components are far more economical on their own.

Graham cracker ready crust arrived intact
This kit contains everything you need to make a graham cracker crust pumpkin pie except for the eggs and spices, and everything I received had a best by date in late 2024 (more than a year away). The graham cracker pie crust arrived intact with just a few minor splits in the bottom, and the cans were in good shape without any dings or dents. The kit is more expensive than the individual ingredients in it would be if you went to the store yourself, but you're paying for the convenience of being able to send it or get it delivered.

Unfortunate
I feel like this pack is a bit pricey for these items. Unfortunately my crust was absolutely crumbled. The cans are okay and I loved the idea of how convenient this was to have everything you need in one package. It’s just unfortunate that I couldn’t enjoy due to the crust being broken so I will now have to go to the store to grab one.
