This is a really great buy. The only thing I wish it had was some sort of iPad clamp but it isn’t advertised as such. At the one I was still just using paper charts and check lists and it works brilliantly for that. The rings pair nicely with some plastic sleeves which you can put anything you might need into including regional or unpublished strip charts.The clipboard stays in when in use and is per study writing platform, however it does tend to slip out of the cloth when you don’t have it strapped to your leg. Not too bad a problem but can be annoying when hopping in the cockpit.Overall you really just can’t complain too much because it works really great and is a bargain.

It sits tight on the leg but I felt a bit clumsy with it and the sheets are almost impossible to use while flying.For organizing it all at the same place and taking things off while flying without doing a lot of maneuvers and things then I guess it could have a good use.

Everything looked great then a few days later, I went to put pens in it and the stitching came loose instantly. It's still able to hold pens but make sure to check everything before throwing away the original packaging! I'm keeping it since last time I returned an item (unrelated to this item), the item was lost in transit and I was charged again for it. Overall the quality is great and I can't wait to use it for flights!!

Look at the dates for the 4- and 5-star reviews. They are all 2023 and before. Everything after that is downhill. Amazon tells me I have purchased this exact kneeboard three times, but the one I just got today is nothing like the ones I received a few years ago. This is worthless. There is no way to attach the clipboard to the knee strap. This is a fail all around.

I agree with the other buyers the original was pretty good but theis new version is made very cheaply . There is no slot for the clipboard which completely defeats the purpose. It definitely won't hold an Ipad and the cellphone slot is to small for my Samsung S22 phone.

Well at first I wasn't sure I would like this or not, but I have to say my only complaint is my dry erase marker falls through the pen holder. But since it wasn't designed for a dry erase marker How can I complain. This works great and I would recommend this to anyone that needs a good kneeboard for flying.

1) I haven't kept the device so its difficult to evaluate sturdiness and durability when I only spend 15 mins with the item.2) Its poorly designed and does not deliver what the photos show.a) The clipboard has not pocket to slide into. The canvas is shown shut at both ends. The only way to hold the clipboard down it so wrap the entire item *around* the clipboard and your leg.b) the rings are held within the clear band. So any approach plates held there will obsure the writing surface and make writing difficult with unstrapping the clear strap.c) the clipboard is simple plastic. None of the aviation info shown in the photograph for the item was printed on it.
