Why did you pick this product vs others?: Absolutely fantastic for snorkeling. Spent 7 days, multiple hours per day snorkeling on Bonaire. The bag is structurally solid and mostly bone dry (minimal, expected condensation forms inside when you have it closed in the hot sun and transition to the cool waters.) With a party of nine we were able to carry 3 iPhones, 2 wallets, a med kit and 2 small suntan lotions (all wrapped in additional waterproof ziplocks just incase). 5 folds to seal the top and then inflating the outer cell made the unit fully buoyant, enough so that several young members of our snorkel team were able to hang onto it for flotation while making in water adjustments. Was also a great surface marker buoy that made us visible to any chance boats. While there is an ample, secure tether that comes with the bag, we rigged an extended tether to allow the wearer to dive. 100% great product.

This is no rocket science but it's real good. A combination of a dry bag and a buoy made of good materials. Starting with the packing its perfect. Enough capacity for my essentials. Im a diabetic and when swimming in open waters I need to take a few things that I keep dry and with me at all times. As a photographer it's big enough to carry a camera with a kit lens if I go in a kayak. So it is worth what you pay and more.

I really love it, I didn't us the space for keep things safe, but was useful for my snorkeling, i feel safe. It stayed inflamed the whole time, both times I used it. I see it with good and resistant material. I bought 2 and my husband and I are happy, yes, we saw a few drops of water in the dry part, but I didn't take too much importance in closing that area because I didn't leave anything there.

Overall this buoy is very well constructed. Everything is just much sturdier than my previous one. A bit on the smaller side, but it’s highly visible and the air in/out works great too. The only reason I gave it four stars is that the leash is just too short. Should be at least double from its current 12” or about 30 cm.

Works exactly as described. Seems very heavy duty. Sturdy. Keeps items dry. Highly visible. If you’re swimming in any type of open water, makes you easily visible and gives you that sense of security.

We used this swim buoy for an entire month of snorkeling and open-water swimming, often offshore or in areas with boats and other swimmers. It turned out to be one of the best pieces of gear we brought! The bright color made us highly visible — even strangers came up to us on the beach to say how easy we were to spot from shore. The buoy was the perfect balance of compact and packable (easy to fit in a suitcase for travel) yet large enough to stand out clearly in the water. The dry bag compartment was great for keeping my phone and wallet safe while swimming, and it added extra peace of mind. It’s not a life preserver, but it definitely provides some float support if you need to rest or get a cramp. Excellent quality, easy to use, and absolutely worth it for safety and visibility. Highly recommended for anyone swimming from shore or around boats.

Good quality

I’ve been able to use this in open water a couple times now and it has worked great for me. The dry compartment has kept my car keys dry with no issues. It’s very easy to set up, blow up and go. I haven’t need to use it as flotation but I feel much better knowing that other people in and out of the water can see me.
