For the longest time I took my Dane to get his nails clipped and it was very traumatic he’d have to be held down even tho he’s not even vicious at all he’s a big baby but guess he wriggles so much made it hard and it made me feel badly every time. I was also nervous as his nails are dark and was scared to clip the quick . But a friend used this on his dog and he said to try it. At first moose was afraid but after trying doing a few nails at a time and giving him many many treats he got used to it. I do his weekly to stay on top of them and he doesn’t really mind. It’s pretty quiet and the attachment comes off for the breeds with thicker nails . .I really think the biggest thing is to start this very young if you get a puppy but if your dog is older it can still work moose is 4 so it’s possible to get them to let you do this I feel , and you don’t have to worry about hurting them . It’s awesome. Try it !

This kit was a great value for the price. If you have a long hair dog though, the hair on their paws can sometimes get caught in the grinder, so you have to be careful with that, and sometimes their nails get caught in the edge as well. Overall, it's decent. The battery drains even when you're not using it, so you have to charge it every time you want to use it. But I didn't expect it to have it all for the price.

I love this my dog is so scared of his nails being filed and this is perfect for it a charge last a while and it isn’t loud it does file his nails pretty quick and I can shape them some nails are a bit thick so it is hard soemtimes but if you turn it the right way his nails will fit in the provided space enough to file his nails

My puppy was not thrilled about this. But finally calmed down about half way through. It worked great on 5he. Dry first use straight out of the box. Came fully charged. It comes will a nice cover so you can get comfortable while learning to use it before fully removing for very large nails.

Works well & is perfect for my little dog. After a few months it stopped holding a consistent charge. To combat this we just make sure it’s plugged in for 15-30 minutes prior to use

I bought this product to keep my dog's claws trimmed and also my cat's claws... i wanted to get one with a decent price that I could use on both of my animals. Since they are both terrified of loud noises I was specifically looking for on that was close to silent. This one was not LOUD but it still; sounded like a semi loud vibration so I scared my cat. I have not tried it on my dog yet and I'm sure Iwont have a problem with her because she loves being pampered and touched by me so I am pretty sure I will have better luck when doing hers..... the quality is awesome for the price but if your cat is scared of loud noises and jumpy then i wouldn't suggest this one..... Its also pretty bulky which makes it hard to hold the animal and the motorized nail file at the same time...

The media could not be loaded.  first off, I never received the one I bought and they shipped me another free of charge which was great. As far as the noise goes, even on the highest setting, it's still extremely quiet and doesn't vibrate much at all, which is a MUST for me when i'm trimming my pet skunks nails. My cats were fine with it too. It doesn't grind the nails quite as much as I thought it would...you really have to take a bit of time on each nail which is the reasoning for my 4star rating...but I would prefer that than one with more power that is loud and vibrates alot. The light is another amazing option because I wouldn't go near any of my pets nails to cut them without a light to see their vein. Overall, it's a convenient and well-made little tool! I added a video and a photo to show the difference between before and after using the BDJ grinder...my skunk's nails on her left paw are BEFORE using this grinder and her nails on her right paw are AFTER!

This is great product and works very well on both of our dogs. Other than the touchy switch that might turn off while using, the noise level is fine for dogs and no jumping and winching away with other products we tried in past. Would recommend

For the price I thought this would be a good deal. Honestly the best part about it is the kit and accessories it came with. The hand clippers are amazing. The dremel part is pretty sad. Hardly any power and lags really fast. I have big dogs so maybe it would be ok if they were small dogs. I would not buy again.
