For the price its worth a try. If it doesn't work Amazon is really good at taking back returns. That said I have found the J-tech DAs unreliable though and have recently upgraded to trays of DAs and converters. The J-tech filled the gap though until I could afford to buy the real thing. **Q: im going to use this to split a camera signal (AHD) between to sites about 500ft apart do anyone know if this will work?** A: This will work fine as long as you have decent cable. I've purchased two so far and they both have worked great! J-Tech Digital Customer Support team is always ready to help with any technical support you may need, even if you don't know what you're doing. Highly recommended! 6/3/17 - My original review was inaccurate, I've since verified that all 4 outputs work great. When I experienced my initial display problem, about an hour later I had an SDI to HDMI Converter intermittently start to fail on me. At the time I had no evidence to show that both problems were related to the Converter. My apologies to the seller and my thanks for his support. 6/1/17 - Quick response from the seller to support any issues. Currently working with the seller to verify that the splitter is in fact the cause of my problem or not. I will update this review once this is confirmed. 5/30/17 - Out of the box the #3 Output distorted the color of the image to drastic to fix with the TV color adjustments. Switching the cable to the #4 Output resolved the issue.
