Q: How waterproof is this bag? Looking for extra storage for outside campervan to sit on bike rack.

It will be good for outside storage, although I’d say it’s too long to sit on a bike rack, it’s about 5’ in length. We use it to store our Christmas tree and all the decorations, the purpose it’s intended for.

Q: I have a 6ft fibre optic tree which doesn’t break down will this fit?

No it won’t I have a 6 ft, but I also bought a green one that’s a lot bigger and would fit. I can only get the end piece in this one.

Q: We plan to purchase something like this to transport a medical travel bed on a plane. Is the material likely to stand up to baggae handlers!?

I used mine to transport motorbiking gear - inc helmets intercoms, boots and and such. I wrapped helmets well in a bubble wrap to avoid accidental damage. Based on one flight out and one return the bag did ok, with scuffed corners, but only what you would expect from being checked luggage. I also use some to move show stands for work. The key is to fill them up with bubble wrap so that you dont get folds that can catch on the handling equipment. These bags are not massively durable but if you're only taking a few flights they are more than adequate if well packed.

Q: Can this bag be locked?

I think a small paddlock could work to fasten zips together.
