Prima Adapter funktioniert bestens.
Also erspart euch eine Enttäuschung. So läuft‘s!

Won't work with the latest CPUs and motherboards. Buy something of better quality.
Didn't work: impossible for Windows to detect drives as the hardware isn't detected (tried several drives). Appears to be a conflict / compatibility issue with modern UEFI BIOSes and this adapter. There should have been a warning in the product description about this compatibility issue. Zero instructions in the box, too. PC barely booted with this and an IDE drive connected, with the UEFI BIOS hanging for ages before allowing Windows to start. On booting, Windows 11 sometimes got stuck halfway too, requiring a press of the reset button which at one point forced it to do a self diagnostic and repair, so it could have been trashed beyond repair due to that forced restart caused by the adapter. Even where it did start, it took an excessively long time to get past the Windows logo. The core of the problem is the 20 year old (yes, the datasheet is dated 2006) JM20330 chipset at the heart of it. It's possible that someone with a PC that's got an older CPU than the 14900K like I have, this might work. I could have set the BIOS to compatibility mode, but then Windows would have stopped booting so I wasn't gonna go through the bother of creating a special installation on a separate SSD just to accommodate this. Wasted hours on this, thinking I must have missed something, when I hadn't. Tried a similar Startech adapter that I finally managed to find and had no such problems, working flawlessly from the off. Avoid this unless you have an older SATA only PC and want the cheapest of adapters without regard to quality.
