AOSU 2K Add-on Camera, Requires WirelessCam/SolarCam HomeBase (NOT Doorbell HomeBase)

EXCELLENT product and service! Reason; I'm an older person who purchased this product after reviewing several other similar products. Reviews were that this was the best security camera in its class and the easiest to setup! They were not lying! I setup the system myself by following the directions step by step, easy peasy! Black Friday I ordered another camera to make it a 3 camera set. Right out of the box I had issues, I called the help line and spoke to a "Josh". Very helpful but we could not connect to base, it quit pairing at 98%. He walked me through it at least 3 times, than said he'd put in a ticket for the camera. That's when Cora contacted me (AOSU Support Team member). PROFESSIONALISM all the way. Could not do enough to correct the situation, immediately replaced the unit (actually arrived today Dec. 28. Waiting for unit to warm up before attempting to connect to base). If you want the best security system at a reasonable price, please buy this unit...you will not be disappointed! Picture quality, including night vision is excellent. You can adjust the cameras perimeter yourself. Microphone is loud and clear for answering door without having to actually go and answer it. Setup is one of the easiest there is and if you run into trouble, you can always get immediate support. ALARM is loud enough to scare and porch pirates or unwanted intruders away (though you might tick off some of your neighbours!). A couple of my friends have already purchased this unit on the fact of quality, pricing and the quick response of Support Team members (an actual human!) who really do care about their product and customer satisfaction! You truly won't be sorry!

I ordered 2 solar , 1 rechargeable and 1 doorbell cam. The set up was super easy, after a few weeks I had issues with 1 solar cam not holding a charge, so I reached out to support and Ivy was amazing she was helpful and sent me a new solar camera and ensured i was 100% satisfied, which i totally am! Pictures are clear, no subscription needed, support is there if you need them. I reccomended Aosu to everyone when they ask. Affordable and trusting.

I did lots of research to get the perfect camera. I also read all the reviews. I am very picky what I get. I have 17 Toucan Cameras. Got 4 For my friend's house also. The price is very high unfortunately. So I Decided to look for something else. That is close to it. I came across with this camera. I told myself, I'll buy four, give it a try. Everyone said it's easy to hook up at first. I had a hard time because I bought four. I Keep putting the other two, so it wasn't working😁 Till I figured everything out, it was easy yes. Then I play with all the buttons. Try to get used to it. Then I said to myself, Let me try the battery, see how long it will last. Sure enough it lasts a long time. They are much bigger and Heavier. The flash does go on if it's dark.If it bothers you, No need to worry you can mute it. My Friend said, I don't like it when the flash goes on. Told her too bad get used to it Hee Hee, It doesn't bother me at all. Like I said you can mute it. It has alarmed, yes, and it's loud, I love it. You can also control the alarm, but if I were you, I would not lower it the louder, the better. Toucan Alarm is not that loud. So far, I am very satisfied with this camera. I shall order four more from my friend's house. Cause she is super busy lady. Working a lot in the hospital and has a German Shepherd, Beijing puppy, it's perfect for her house. The motion goes off constantly with the puppy. He's a handsome adorable obedient puppy. If anyone wants to get a puppy, I recommend don't buy anything else but german shepherd beijing bestpuppy, Dog on this earth. They are k nine police officer dog. This is why they use them very obedient. I she'll get 4 more new cameras for her house 100%? I recommend this to everyone and no monthly fee. What do you got to lose? Camera is very clear and easy to use. I have 3 on one homebase and will order a fourth. No subscription fee. I called the phone number on the manual to help me add the additional third camera.

I had a week to play with these cameras and I am very happy with them. They are responsive and quick to capture motion, the night vision is excellent, and for the money/value, they beat the competition. Fast/easy to install and set up, and not having to pay a cloud vendor for storage is great. There is however a few caveats I noted after a week of using. Caveats 1. The motion detection (even when turned up higher in settings) does not appear to go past 30-40 feet. This means that when I had it on one side of my house, it had a great view of the whole yard, but would not capture motion when people were on the opposite end of the yard. I ended up moving the camera closer to the areas where people could enter the house (facing the opposite direction) so it would capture the video of people coming/leaving. Be strategic and test all motion during installation. You may end up changing locations due to this. 2. In areas of high motion (like where my kids were playing all day long), the camera was all day long capturing 1 minute segments of video. The battery dropped from 100% to 70% after just a half day. There are a few options you can do such as putting the camera to sleep (but then you capture no video during that period) or hard-wiring the camera to a power source. I ended up ordering a solar panel to resolve this issue. Pros: 1. Price 2. Ease of setup/installation 3. Aesthetics 4. Night vision (It captured every attempt I made to circumvent the night vision motion detection at night when entering the screened in door or walking around the house). 5. Image quality 6. Configurable zones of motion (this is amazing so your cameras don't get set off by people walking, neighbors vehicles, etc) 7. Base station records a LOT of video before looping. 8. The AI alerts are impressive, and just overall features (talk, sound alerts) etc. Overall I am 100% pleased with this setup. Anytime you buy tech, there are always minor caveats that have to be worked through. For areas of high motion, I recommend hard wiring or solar panels. My other cameras are still at 100% after being installed for a week. They get less motion, just when cars leave or people enter the home.
