Soy based high protein that tastes good.
Tastes great, with multiple flavors. Bottles small enough they’re not overwhelming. All protein from say. Totally non dairy

Excellent for what it is
You have to keep in mind that this isn’t a milkshake or chocolate milk. It’s not going to taste like a treat. However, the taste is not at all unpleasant. The texture is thick and creamy. Compared to other protein drinks I’ve tried, this is by far the most satiating, well worth the extra 80 cal compared to other brands. 30 g of soy protein isolate is a highly digestible form of protein, and the small amounts of fat and fiber really help it fill you up. Great if you don’t have time/an appetite for a full meal

Complete Protein Is a different Soylent. Add mango juice to make it lassi-like :D
Update: I originally hated the taste as it was super bland compared to regular Soylent. But after adding Mango juice concentrate (Jumex Mango Nectar) - it now has a lassi like taste which i kind of like. Original: When I ordered it I assumed it was the normal vanilla Soylent which I liked. Turns out its not the same and the regular Soylent is called "Complete Meal Replacement" and not "Complete Protein". Pros: Its 30g of protein which is what is recommended for a meal. (vs 20g of the regular (14oz) and 16g of the small (11oz) version). Cons: Way thicker and less flavorful compared to the regular Soylent. Personally I don't like it (I like the regular one).

This is not the meal shake, it's the protein shake.
First of all, be aware that this is not Soylent Complete Meal Shake. This is the smaller and much less appetizing Protein Shake. I made the mistake of not differentiating the two, however I thought I was ordering the Meal Shake. Turns out the meal shakes are sold out everywhere for some reason and are virtually impossible to get right now. That's a shame since I've relied on Soylent for my breakfast for some time now. I've been drinking Soylent since it first launched years ago, but they seem to be having supply chain problems. TL;DR - These taste synthetic and gross, not like the Meal Replacement Shake we know and love.

Excellent occasional substitute for a small meal or a hardcore snack
Awesome nutrition, very enjoyable taste and texture. Very convenient (pleasant to drink at room temperature, long shelf life). Reasonably priced compared to my other choices for a meal substitute. I’m vegan and the only non-Soylent nutrition drink I’ve tried in years, has been Owyn. Owyn is acceptable if I’m desperate, but it tastes like chemicals compared to Soylent - Soylent tastes lovely to me. I’d probably burn out on it fast if I drank one more than once a week. But having them that infrequently, I love them.

New formula is terrible!
Vanilla Soylent, the old kind with 20 g of protein in the old blue bottle, was my go to meal replacement drink. The new formulation with 30 g of protein in the blue and black and white bottle is so thick it is like drinking snot. It’s terrible compared to the previous version of the product. Buy something else, or else you have to water this down to drink it. Not enjoyable at all.

Soylent High Protein: More Protein, Less Drink and Less Enjoyable
As someone familiar with regular Soylent, I wanted to see how their High Protein version compares. There are some notable differences — not all positive. First, the bottle is smaller: 11 oz compared to the regular 14 oz. Despite being more calorie- and protein-dense (30g protein), you’re getting less product overall, which feels like a tradeoff rather than an upgrade. Second, the consistency is noticeably thicker. It’s more like a traditional protein shake — dense and borderline chalky — rather than the smooth, easy-to-drink texture of regular Soylent. If you prefer lighter drinks, this could be a downside. Finally, the flavor is underwhelming. Compared to the original line, this version tastes more artificial and has a lingering aftertaste. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not enjoyable either. Bottom line: If you need the extra protein and don’t mind sacrificing flavor and drinkability, this might work for you. But if you’re used to regular Soylent, this feels like a step down in taste and overall experience.
