After getting Wheeljack and Bumblebee I felt I needed this guy to complete the trio! I hindsight, I was right! Vehicle mode is solid and very accurate to the source material. How he compacts down into this is quite a feat of engineering. It feels weighty and locks together really well and even has half decent weapon and accessory storage. My only minor gripe would be the clear plastic used as I have had bad experiences with it before. The robot mode is also great. A very faithful and immediately recognisable figure of G1 Jazz despite him having a totally different alt mode. Movement and joints are spot on and the fact he comes with a representation of his wrist mounted grappling hook is a really nice touch.. If I had one criticism apart from the clear plastic, it would be that getting him to lock into place in alt mode can be tough. Once he's there he's staying there but sometimes the panels can be a bit of a pain. Overall though this is a great figure and is easily worthy of a spot in your collection!

The knees have significantly less bend to them than most of the figures from the last decade, but the rest of the joints are there and he's got shoulder 5mm accessory ports along with the ones when you fold in his fists, unlike the S86 mold. Transformation requires a LOT of force and grip strength to get everything compacted down into car mode or pulled back apart, so actual children and possibly younger teens are likely to need adult assistance to manage it, so be aware of that. Getting the clear plastic windscreen in place over the corners of the hood is particularly scary due to the flexing needed; I plan to get out a rat-tail file and take a bit off the inside corners of the windscreen to ease those clearance issues before trying to transform him a second time. Hasbro finally managed to perfect the zero-plastic packaging they've been toying with since the end of TF:Armada, too, using a cardboard insert that folds around the figure while letting a few bits poke through cutouts to still allow for a view of the chest and head inside the box, a few strips of celotape the only plastic involved aside from the toy itself. The use of a faux-Porsche-nose chest plate also lets this guy have upper body proportions much closer to the screen model than even the Studio 86 version, if a bit chunkier in the legs. All in all, a good deal for an adult collector if you can find him at normal Deluxe price, but not for kids and definitely getting iffy as you reach the usual Voyager price point in online shops. Check your local brick & mortar Target first, they may still have some, possibly even at clearance discounts.

C'è poco da dire, per gli ormai non più bambini è un ritorno al passato, buoni materiali, buona anche la trasformabilità, fedele al cartone.
