Once you pop the silicon washer thingies INTO the holes, it’s easy & quick to attach the handle. Everything fits together well & it’s a good seal. You just need a Phillips screwdriver. The outer part of the lid sits just inside the skillet (so it’s not a perfect fit like the 8” lid I bought for my cast iron Lodge pan where the outer part of the lid sits nicely outside the outer edge & the inside just inside the pan), but this will serve its purpose of keeping food from drying out while reheating. The other size Antrader lids seem to have maybe a quarter inch more generous sizing, so it’s odd that the 9” one is skimpier, but 9” lids are hard to find! this one has the kind of handle I wanted & wasn’t the same price as the pan! (I’m looking at you, Mauviel. Tsk.) I think this one is worth the price. I’m happy with the purchase.

Recently dropped a top to our set. This was a direct replacement and fit perfect! Comes with hardware and spare set. Was easy to install and seems to be tempered glass as listed.

I carefully measured the skillet inside and outside measurements. The lid fit perfectly. It is a quality heavy duty lid.

Very good product but not perfect. If you happen to buy a frying pan or pot that does not come with a glass lid, this is a good solution. The user has to install the handle, which is easy and saves shipping space. It is glass so you can see what is cooking and It has a vent hole to keep it from rising on a pot of boiling water. The only problem is the fit. If you don't buy a lid made for the pot or pan, you find different ideas of size. Is it 12" to the inner or outer edge of the pot, or lid? This does not impact its functionality, it fits well but not perfectly. I would buy it again if I had a pan without a lid, but I would rather buy a pan with a matching lid.

I got this 8 inch lid for my Henckels H3 stainless steel fry pan. It fits the 8" pan pretty well, with a little leeway, but still a good fit. It only took about 5 minutes to put the handle on, most of the time spent rounding up a socket and screwdriver. It seems to be high quality, and it looks good too. I'm pleased with it overall. I want to add that there's a very good review here I read after I put the lid together, so I took it apart and did it again. I didn't realize the little rubbery washers were supposed to go all the way through the lid and have the slightly smaller lip on the top. When I did this I could see how much better the fit was. I think installing this rubber washer correctly will cut down on needing to tighten the screws so often. My handle is as tight as the first day I put it on.

These lids are very good quality. They are extremely easy to attach the lid handles. Very compatible and fit really well with the rock by starfrit fry pans great appearance with heat resistant and ventilation. Even though there is no written instructions on how to attach the handle it shows exactly how to do do it the in the image pictures of f the lid very easy to follow.

The lid handle is attached separately with screws, and it's terrible; the screws keep coming loose while I'm cooking. Now I have a lid without a handle. HORRIBLE!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT! Now I have to buy another lid!!

I had an old 10 inch cast iron skillet that I's had for 23 years. I usually used it for cooking things like potatoes and onions, gravy, etc. The only time I used it in the oven was when I cooked cornbread. I got a glass lid just like this (without a steam venting hole at a resale store for 15 cents and it hadn't given me a problem I never used it in the oven. I wanted bought another 10 inch skillet with the two D shaped handles because that is easier to remove from the oven which came with a cast iron lid. My daughter didn't have a cast iron skillet, so I told her I would give her mine, but I was loathe to give the glass lid I've had for so many years. I read the reviews with only a few bad reviews, so I decided to order it. The Antrader Tempered Glass Lid,10" Glass Covers for Pots,Pans and Skillets was a perfect fit for my Cuisinart skillet I just bought And it was a perfect fit! It was also very easy to put together. So far, I haven't had a problem and I feel it is a good investment.♥

It's the perfect size. Fills the gap in my life sizes. I am able to get more use out of my all-clad pan.
