I got a free sample of the CeraVe Ultra‑Light Moisturizing Gel and ended up liking it enough to buy the full-size on Amazon. This is perfect for sensitive skin, like me, no weird fragrances since I’m very touchy with that. My dermatologist recommended it to me because I had bad teen acne and this was to be used after my cleanser at night and mornings. I usually pair it with a milky toner and my barrier loves me for it❤️. There’s not a whole ton of product but it’s works and it’s worth it I’d say. It does have a bit of a cooling effect but nothing crazy. Keeps my skin from flaring up. I usually add a cream based lotion in between this and some more drying skin steps since if you do a very skin drying routine this isn’t enough. I’ve used this for two years now, and the picture is the after effects of this (and prescriptions) but considering my dermatologist recommended it and never took me off it and I got this far, it’s the perfect acne friendly addition!

When I tell you this moisturizer is the bees knees, I mean it. I have sensitive, combo skin that is acne prone and very red. Thick moisturizers tend to make my skin even more irritated. This is a light light, non-greasy formula that is gentle and well absorbed. It goes on light and wet, maybe a little tacky, but dissipates quickly. It worked very well on bare skin and under makeup. I have used this for YEARS and will not switch. My only complaint is the cost for product amount. I can never tell when its about to run out.

This is the second order of the lite moisturizing gel. I really like how gel it is and goes on smooth. One pump will pretty much take care of your face and neck, declate area, neck, chin and below. There are three CeraVe products that I use now on the daily, mostly early morning and evening after shower. Sometimes just in the evening, however, I can see a slight difference in my skin now after almost 30 days of use. Just ordered the three that I am using so I have them on hand. Not too thick, goes on smooth, no greasiness, yes makes skin soft, hydrates, and I love it. I do have a lot of CeraVe products and have used them for many years, now going back, as I like to try different things, But now back, senior here with senior skin, and stressed skin, it is helping with the wrinkles and the skin stress, weather plus. Great product for my teens!

Lo compré pensando que era la versión americana del oil control y aunque no es igual, sigue siendo un producto igual de bueno para mi piel mixta con tendencia al acné. Su textura es muy ligera y se absorbe muy rápido, si bien no queda un acabado mate, el brillo no es excesivo y da más bien un aspecto saludable. Personalmente prefiero la crema oil control, pero no será un problema terminar ésta o incluso comprarla nuevamente para la temporada de invierno que tiende a resecarse más la piel.
