Bought these to finally repair door handles that had been pulled out of hollow doors and repaired numerous times. In terms of doing what they are supposed to, they work perfectly, they have gaps in the threads so you can cut them down to size and worry about not being able to thread them together. I used snips to shorten them by one segment which worked for a standard thickness UK interior “hollow” door.The biggest challenge is drilling the holes through the door straight enough to match up the door handles, likely easier with the door off but with the door in place, a real challenge.Anyway, finally got them fitted and now the handles ar rock solid an unlikely to come loose anytime soon.

Good product, but tricky to install as you have to perfectly align both ends. Once done, great performance, especially with hollow core doors.

I wouldn’t of bought them if I had realised How thin they was the head went straight through the screw holes on my internal door handles they arrived quickly but not the size I was expecting

Decent quality and good value for money.Cut down to size and these resovled the mess the previous owner had done to most of the door handles... seems they didn't understand how these worked and just replaced them with regular screws that easily came loose.

Bought them for the door handles, It was a bit fiddly screwing them together but did the job perfectly.
