Many years, my daughters have had backpacks that don't last the first month of school. I bought my daughter this JanSport bag back for September. Five months later, I can tell you that it has held up well. No rips. No zipper issues. Handles are still securely attached. And she carries way too much stuff. Her bag is heavy. I tried to pick it up today to help her get out to the car, and I put it back down and made her carry it. Before I dropped her at school today I made her take out some things she didn't need and will have her do a more thorough job when she gets home. Despite all the items she is carrying from class to class every day, the bag has held up really well - I am impressed. It clearly can handle way more weight than anyone should carry on their back.

My 8 year old daughter picked this out for her newest school backpack and when it arrived, she loved it even more than the picture. Great size, lots of pockets, super functional for her school Chromebook, binder, lunch and other school items.
