If you know how to change a tire, you can fix most flats with this easy-to-use kit
Even though I'm a pretty good Shadetree mechanic, I myself have never fixed a flat tire on any of my cars past or present. I usually just replace the flat tire with the spare and then pay the shop to repair the tire. Over the years, I've done this many times. It's cheap so not worth my time to do it myself. That all changed when my spare tire was punctured before I could get the other flat tire repaired! Since I couldn't drive my car due to having both main and spare tires flat, the next easiest and cheapest self-reliant solution was to order this tire repair kit and do it myself. Prior to this, I called a local mobile tire repair service, but they wanted $80 to come out to my house to repair a simple flat....no thanks. Then my neighbor offered to take me + tires to the local shop to have it repaired, but I decided this was a good time to do it myself by learning the actual procedure since it will undoubtedly happen again in the future. This kit is low cost and it's good for more repairs than I'll ever need, at least for the next two decades! After receiving the kit and reading the instructions + watching a couple of videos online, I proceeded to plug the tire. Everything went smoothly and it took maybe 15 minutes. Since it was my first time doing this, I took my time to try and get it right and not make any mistakes which would require a redo. After the repair, I poured some water over the plugged area to see if there were any leaks. There were none, so I mounted the newly repaired spare wheel/tire back on the car. Yes, I fixed the spare and not the main tire, reason being the latter couldn't be fixed with this kit because the problem was a damaged valve stem and not a tread puncture. I waited a few weeks and was lucky enough to get the main tire repaired at a local tire shop for....FREE! Yes, they had a free flat fix Mother's Day special going so the timing was perfect.

Must-Have in Every Car
I've used many different plug kits over the years, and this one is by far the best I've come across. Everything you need is included in the zip-up pouch, and the changes/improvements made to this kit over the older ones make it much easier to install the plug.Other plug kits use a rasp-type tool to open up the hole, but this one uses a spiral version that looks like a big screw. This makes it MUCH easier to clean up the hole prior to installing the plug, as you can just twist the tool in. Adding some of the included lubricant makes it even easier. But the best part of this tool is the collar around the plug installation tool. Not only does this keep you from driving the plug all the way through the tire (something that's happened to me personally with other brands), but by putting pressure on the collar with one hand, you can make sure you don't inadvertently pull the plug out when removing the tool. The only thing that surprised me was that there's no glue included with the kit. Most of the other plug kits I've used included a little tube of rubber cement that you would apply to the plug, but in this kit, supposedly the plugs are already sticky enough that it's not necessary. I've put in several plugs with this kit so far and none have leaked, so can't really complain.I have one of these kits in each of my vehicles, and have purchased them as gifts for friends and family. Combine this with a 12V compressor, and you can get back on the road no matter where you are or what time it is. Even if you only use it once, it's well worth the money.

Works for puncture flat repairs
Great kit. Used it already on a flat on my truck (Frontier pick up). Several months and thousands of miles later - plug still holding strong. Got another kit for my other car.

Good- but wish it had vulcanizing cement
This is a great kit and as advertised. In hindsight, I wish I would have bought a kit including vulcanizing cement. Its possible plugs without cement are not considered permenent fixes. I bought this for 4x4 driving all alone. I will buy some cement. Kit worked great when I used it. I recommend adding a pair of heavier duty pliers. very happy considering this was lowest cost plug kit

Did it work as advertised? Yes
Arrived on time. Had all items as advertised. Was able to remove the nail with nose pliers, use the probe tool to clean up the hole and put the lubricated plug in using the insert tool and cut the protruding plug with the knife provided. All done in less than 15 mins. Was able to fix the flat on Model 3 Tesla without any issue or loosing air.

Great tire repair kit
Had a nail puncture a tire on my jeep recently so tried this repair kit out and couldn't be happier. Everything needed was in this kit and for less than $20 is a very good value. Took about 10 minutes, included tools were easy and effective. Leak checked after with soapy water, no bubbles. Filled back to normal pressure and holding steady. Do recommend keeping the lube in a climate controlled environment otherwise seal it in a small zip lock. The lube is useful for the reamer and plugger tool.

Great tool
I had to use this tool before I thought I would like and it worked perfectly. It was a lot easier than I thought.
