Cats need to drink a reasonable amount to prevent kidney issues - especially older cats. If you cat won't drink standing water and prefers a tap and you're on a water meter, you need one of these.Completely silent in operation - ours is on the landing right next to our (always open) bedroom door - we don't hear it at all. Even with your ear very close, you'll only hear a *very* feint woooo sound.Capacity is enormous - about 5 or five pints - but our cats will drink it down to the point where the pump is struggling in about three days.I love the look of this! Much better that cutesy yoothsy kitty cartoon and pink plastic affairs - my partner is convinced I stole this from a dentist or surgery :-)Powered from a cheap small 2.1amp USB charger plug thingy (not supplied) which I like - we don't need any more weird chargers that only work with one device being shipped around the planet and eventually ending up in landfill. Everyone has loads of USB chargers and nowadays - if not, you can get a pack of 4 for £8 from Amazon - supplying your own charger is the future.One minor criticism - the wire from the pump cannot be disconnected close to the fountain - it would make cleaning the thing much easier if I could just unlug the cable and carry the top tray to the bathroom or kitchen for cleaning.

It's quiet and easy to maintain, so of course my cat won't go near it. He prefers drinking from a bowl in the hall which I'll kick over at least once a week. If you don't have a fussy, stubborn feline, I'd recommend this.

I chose this fountain from all the others because of the excellent reviews. I have two house panthers (black cats). Ivy has always liked to drink from the bathroom tap even though her water is changed regularly.She can be wary of anything new and had it been at all noisy she wouldn’t have gone near it. Thankfully it’s very quiet just a light trickling sound. She likes it. As does her sister Cleo.It was also fantastically easy to set up.We’re still in week one so I will update if there are any changes but very happy so far.

Pump stopped working less than 1 year after purchase. Despite the claim that seller will replace within a 2 year period there is no way of contacting the seller - avoid.

Easy to assemble, easy to clean. Perfect for my cat who only drinks from a running tap.

We’re constantly buying new fountains for our cats to try and so far this has been the best one, we’ve tried about 10 different fountains and will definitely buy a second one

I needed to replace my previous cat water fountain, which was plastic and the motor stopped running. This water fountain for my cats is so adorable! It has hardly no noise, it makes my cats wanna drink a lot more, and it's really space efficient. There is even a small light near the fountain where you can see it in the complete dark. It's also really easy to clean!

I have tried a few waterers and this is superior! It is absolutely silent. My cats love it, it is easy to refill, easy to clean, looks nice. Best waterer ever. I recommend this product to everyone.

The media could not be loaded.  Aunque el primer día los gatos ignoraron losdos bebederos, días después ya hacían fila para beber. Fue una excelente compra, así como lo indica la publicidad, el motor no hace ruido, además la caída de agua me resultó relajante. Lo que nunca entendí fue porqué la compra está limitada a dos bebederos como máximo, pues necesitaba 4 para tres docenas de mininos recogidos de la calle. Tampoco entendí porque tardaron treinta dias en llegar... Volví a comprar 2 bebederos y está vez no tardaron en llegar....Otro punto que olvidé mencionar y que me pareció genial es que los pelos son retenidos...
